How to make homemade adaptations for Bulgarians?

The Bulgarian is an indispensable tool for performing various construction, installation and repair works. The main task of this apparatus is to quickly cut metal or stones. Also, thanks to special nozzles, it is able to thoroughly polish the surface of the part, to clean it and to remove deep and stuck dirt (often it is rust). However, in order to expand the scope of this device, many people acquire and even design self-made devices for Bulgarians. And today we will consider what devices and attachments are most in demand in construction, and how to make them yourself.

At the moment, there are many different attachments that allow you to significantly expand the scope of use of a simple Bulgarian. Such, for example, are:

  1. Nozzles for sanding surfaces and removing old paint.
  2. The bed.
  3. Transporters (we'll talk about them at the end of the article).

It is worth noting that most owners prefer to still buy ready-made attachments in the store, rather than making them with their own hands. They are not so expensive, they are not difficult to find. But some masters make these devices themselves. Read more about this below.

How to make homemade adaptations for Bulgarian? Cooking tools

To perform this work, you need the following devices:

  • Electric drill with a set of drills;
  • Screwdriver;
  • A hacksaw on wood ;
  • Disks for a bulgarian with a diameter of 125 millimeters.

What should be prepared from the materials?

You need to buy wooden bars (2 pcs.), A metal corner made of duralumin steel and the same plate. You will also need self-tapping screws 3 ... 3.5x16 ... 35 millimeters. In total you need to have 8 such elements.

Getting Started

First a metal plate is cut out. Then, from the dural angle, an angle is made. This is easy - you just need to make a cutout in the form of a triangle in one of the shelves of the part and bend it at a right angle. In the metal construction of the plate, it is necessary to drill 6 holes of diameters of 4 millimeters each. This is necessary to fix the handle, corners and wooden bar with screws. It should be noted that each of these holes must have a special groove for the screw of screws.

The handle is fastened with a bar using two screws. Dimensions of fasteners should be 3x35 millimeters. So you get a L-shaped detail. All these elements together with the plate are further assembled. At the same devices for Bulgarians are fixed with 4 self-tapping screws 3x20 mm.

So, the basis of the element is already ready for us. Now you need to install steel corners here. They should be two - with dimensions 60 × 60 × 45 and 55 × 30 × 75 millimeters. It should be noted that the first corner must be unbent from 90 0 to 60 0 . If this is not done, the Bulgarian product will not be fixed exactly. What to do next? After installing the steel corners, the Bulgarian is attached to them. It is connected to the device by means of its own handle on one side, and on the other - by means of a bolt and a lock nut of the M series (8 × 20 millimeters). The latter is necessary so that the screw does not unscrew from the device while cutting material. It is not necessary to install the lock nut on the handle, as you will hold it by hand. Everything, at this stage, the cutting device has been successfully manufactured.

Stand

Such tools for Bulgarians are used to facilitate the efforts made by the operator to perform work on cutting the material. Agree, to keep the weight bulky Bulgarians for several hours in a row is quite difficult. For this reason, many craftsmen make special frames that allow them to work on cutting metal and products with almost one hand.

How to make such an adaptation for the Bulgarians with their own hands? First you need to make a wooden box. It is enough to make only one side for fastening bolgarki. All other walls are removed, in their place are attached legs.

But that such a Bulgarian really was effective, you must first adapt it to the new "living conditions". What do I need to do? First remove the tool guard. Then the disc is put on the Bulgarian. When it leans against the side of the instrument, you should mark where the slot for the nozzle or disk drive has been made. It should not be too wide (distance - no foreign objects get into the device). However, the gap can also be expanded. This is done in cases where there is a need for rapid replacement of nozzles without disassembling the entire structure. As support, you can use two wooden bars. All, now you can safely proceed to work on cutting various materials and products.

About protractor

The conveyor is the most important tool when performing construction and installation works. These devices for Bulgarians are indispensable for processing and cutting light metal profiles. Using this tool allows you to calculate the cutting angle of the part with high accuracy, which is best reflected in the quality of the work performed. In addition to metal profiles, this tool is also in great demand for the processing of tiles, flooring and skirting. Homemade protractor is an excellent alternative to cumbersome and expensive tools, which are also called specialized. Perhaps, on an industrial scale, there will be no use for self-made equipment, however, in the household, such an element will definitely be irreplaceable.

The principle of its operation is as follows:

  1. First, the tile (or other cut material) is placed on the guiding corner with an antifriction overlay. The latter has high anti-slip properties, which prevents the possibility of displacement of the part on the device.
  2. Next, the workpiece is pressed tightly against the shelves of the corner, after which the operator sets the required cutting angle.
  3. Then the material is cut. Here it is worth considering that for cutting it is enough just to press a little on the disk - unnecessary efforts in this case to anything.

Design

Structurally, these devices for Bulgarians consist of the following parts:

  • Fixing angle;
  • Loops;
  • Fixing bolt;
  • Main parts.

Unfortunately, such attachments to the Bulgarian can not be made by themselves, which is explained by their complex design. Therefore, it is best to buy such goniometers in specialized stores.
