Cake 'Heart': recipe and cooking technology

What can you please your loved ones? Of course, some pleasant surprise. You can pamper your soul mate with something sweet, for example, you can bake a cake-heart, which will become a special sign of attention. The same option can be an excellent gift in case you do not know what to please your chosen one or chosen one for Valentine's Day - heart-shaped cakes are not only beautiful in appearance, but also very tasty.

I would like to cite as an example a recipe for a delicious cake, which can be decorated in the form of a heart.

Cake "Heart"

To prepare you need:

Dough:

  • Chicken eggs - 3 pieces;
  • Granulated sugar - 50 g;
  • Sour cream (preferably fatter) - 1 glass;
  • Condensed milk - 150 g;
  • Vanilla sugar - 2 tsp;
  • Cocoa powder - 3 tablespoons;
  • Wheat flour - 250 g;
  • Baking powder for the dough - 2 tsp. (Baking powder can be replaced with 1 tsp of soda, slaked vinegar)

Cream:

  • Curd cheese "Almette" - 250 g (you can take "Mascarpone");
  • Cream - 0,5 liters. (Preferably fatter);
  • Granulated sugar - 150 g;
  • Apricot compote - 0.5 liters.

Decoration:

  • Strawberry;
  • Jelly (especially for cake);
  • Petals (almond)

Preparation of dough. It's no secret that cooking cake should start with mixing its base - the dough. To do this, you need to take eggs, sugar and sugar, vanilla. These ingredients must be grinded until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Then add sour cream to it and mix it thoroughly again. Once you notice the formation of a homogeneous mass, you must immediately add the condensed milk and, stirring again, pour the cocoa. After the resulting mass is again mixed, it is necessary to add a baking powder, after the flour and only then all the available ingredients can be kneaded to form a homogeneous dough mass.

When the dough is mixed, it's time to pour it into the pre-cooked form. Do not forget that you are preparing a cake in the form of a heart, so to bake it you need to take a shape in the form of a heart. Its optimal diameter is 25 cm. It is calculated precisely for the amount of ingredients given in the recipe. Before you put the dough in a mold, you need to oil it with a little bit of oil so that the cakes baked in it are not burnt afterwards.

From the received weight of the test it is possible to bake two cakes of a cake. Therefore, at the moment when you will spread the dough into the form, mentally divide all its total mass into two and half leave it in place. The same part that you put in the form, you need to bake for 20 minutes in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees.

Cream preparation. Meanwhile, while the future cake "Heart" is cooked in the oven, you can prepare a cream for it. To do this, you will need diced apricots. In addition to them, in a separate vessel you need to beat until a thick cream with sugar is obtained . Now as for the Mascarpone cheese (or Almette - depending on what you chose), since then it is necessary to add it to the cream. You can leave a couple of spoonfuls of cheese to decorate, and add the rest to the cream and mix, but now not a mixer, but a spoon or a whisk. Only now in the resulting mass you can add apricots and again you need to mix everything.

I want to immediately warn you that the Heart cake consists of four cakes, despite the fact that you baked only two. Four will be due to the fact that you have to cut each of these biscuits in half so that from one heart you get two. Each of their obtained cakes of the future cake should be impregnated with compote as you wish.

Decoration. Now it's time to put the cream on the cakes. Please note that all this procedure should be done only on cold cakes, otherwise the cream will simply flow through the effects of temperature.

On the first cake you need to lay out a third of the cream and smooth out as smoothly as possible. Then this cake is covered with another one and the same procedure is repeated with it. Next comes the third layer, which is also covered with cream and, finally, the fourth. As you have already noticed, there is no cream at all for the last layer, but all because the "Heart" cake is decorated with strawberry berries on top.

To decorate the cake, the strawberries should be cut in half and, having laid out on the upper cake, pour the jelly (it is better to take a red color, for example, strawberry). The sides of the cake should be greased with cooked cream, and the cake can be decorated with cheese, squeezing it out of the syringe.

Now the cake "Heart" is almost ready. Now it needs to be put in the fridge for the night, and in the morning it's to please your loved ones with a delicious dessert.
