How to make a rose from paper without scraps, not carving petals - an exclusive method of workflow: quickly, efficiently and without waste

If a person is faced with the question of how to make a rose from paper, then he should stock up on a roll of corrugated paper of the appropriate color. Still need a little green corrugated paper for winding the stem, quite a bit of green leaf paper for the leaves and wire. And still this person needs to be capitally stocked with patience and perseverance.

Mostly on the Internet abound in descriptions of how to make a rose from paper, folding it from scattered rounded petals. The proposed variant of this work does not provide for cutting a rounded petal. This greatly speeds up and simplifies the manufacturing process, makes the work waste-free, reducing the amount of debris remaining after it. Also, the fact that the rose petals are not divided into individual, but are in the state connected at the base of the petals, facilitate the assembly of the flower - the petals do not crumble. This method is taken from the practice of on-line manual manufacturing of artificial flowers for rituals.

Before making flowers from corrugated paper, you need to cut a piece of 6 cm from the main roll across the folds. Then, one side of 3.5 cm wide should be turned away from this tape and started folding like a bandage. After twelve layers (although the more the petals - the more magnificent the rose, but for the inexperienced "flower-makers" for the first time there are 12 layers), you can cut the paper, but along the corrugated folds. Now it is necessary to make cuts of 4.5 cm on each side of the folded roll so that when unfolding, the so-called "comb" with wide (3.5 cm wide) obtuse rectangular teeth turns out.

Now you need to form the petals of the flower, because making a rose from paper needs a voluminous and magnificent. On each petal it is necessary to tightly screw the free corners of the rectangle alternately on the spoke and move the turned part of the petal from the edges to the middle to fix the "curl". In 8 petals, the ends twist in one direction, and in 4 petals - in the other, because they will represent the internal, not yet opened, petals of the bud. The unfolded ribbon from the future petals should have the form of a fence with triangular points.

To give the petals volume, you need to stretch the corrugation in the middle of each petal with the thumbs of both hands, pushing the dent outward. Moreover, the inner petals are stretched by the wound part inwards, and the outer ones, respectively, outwards.

Now you need to carefully fold the flower, holding all 10 fingers of the workpiece by the joined solid side and collecting it with small wrinkles, folding the workpiece into a tube. To fold the workpiece it is necessary to start with 4 internal petals, gradually straightening the flower and giving it the necessary shape. It is worth paying attention to the fact that the flower does not turn around, so that the middle of the rose does not fall out. Therefore, the inner petals contract at the base for a greater distance, shortening because of this, and each successive series is obtained with larger lobes.

When the flower takes the desired shape, the lower part of the rose (at the base) should be secured with a wire. For this, one end of the wire is pressed tightly against the compressed base, leaving 2 cm free. The other end of the flower base is tightly wound by several turns of wire. Now both ends of the wire should be twisted together, fixing the fastening, and fall down, imitating the stem.

Now you know how to make a rose of paper for a wreath on your head. It remains just to strengthen the flowers on a wire circle, twisted to the size of the head. But for the production of a single flower or bouquet, we must take care of the leaves and stalk decoration. You can also make a detail - an additional twig with an unopened bud. For this part, you need to make a flower of 4-6 petals, which should be done according to the algorithm of internal undiscovered petals.

We also need to worry about how to make leaves out of paper. It's quite simple: we cut out a simple non-corrugated green paper with a leaf with a stem that is 1 cm wide and 3-4 cm long. When winding a wire stalk with a thin roll of corrugated green paper, the sheet stalk is simply applied to the stem during the winding process.

For the winding, the tip of the winding roll is glued with saliva to the convexity of the flower's base, and the entire flower gently rotates with the left hand clockwise. The thumb of the right hand slides easily over the wrapping strip, guiding it and providing the necessary tension. Having made 2-3 turns directly under the flower, an angle is made in the direction of the winding. Thus, the winding smoothly passes to the stem. In the right place an additional twig with an unopened bud and leaves is applied.

The flower can be stuck in a pot of earth, it can be strengthened on an evergreen plant, imitating its flowering. Artificial flowers look good on the tables in the cafe. And their use to decorate gravestones has been practiced since time immemorial. Only let the last way of using paper roses to us longer would not be useful ...
