In this article, I want to talk about how you can make different covers for these kinds of prints.

Paper

This option is suitable in case you need to wrap a school textbook or other literature that very often falls into your hands and quickly loses an attractive look. So, you need to take a sheet of paper that will protrude 3 cm from the top, bottom and sides of the opened book. If one sheet is small, you can try to glue a couple of pieces of scotch tape. Now you need to make special comfortable pockets on the edges of the paper, which will fill the hard palette. First, the sheet of paper should be tucked from below and from above so that it completely coincides with the size of the book. The edges are wrapped, we go further. Now the size of the cover is turned side. That's all, the cover is ready. It turned out such a small pocket, in which a book is inserted at the edges. It is important to correctly calculate the size of the paper on the cover, so it does not turn out less (break) or more (it will strive to jump off).

Cardboard

The principle will be almost the same as in the previous version - you just need to bend the edges correctly. That's only in this version, you yourself need to make a double deflection of the cardboard in the center of the book, where the spine will pass. After all, cardboard does not bend as easily as paper. To do this, you can use scissors, which are convenient to push more dense materials. The basis for the cover is ready! Now we need to decide how she will dress up for the book. There can be several options. The simplest is to simply glue it on the old cover with glue, but this option is suitable if the palette of the book is pretty worn out. And it will not look very aesthetically. And you can make pockets out of a clerical film, into which the favorite volume will be scoured. To do this, cut out the pockets of the desired size and stick them with adhesive tape. But that's bad luck, now the title side is spoiled. No problem, you can just decorate it again. This is done with the help of colored paper, textiles, tapes and other improvised materials. Quite interesting is the creation of a cover for a book of leather. To do this, you need to stock up on a fabric of the necessary size, considering that you need more pieces to create pockets. So, the first step in preparing such a cover is cutting out the product. Then follows the soaking of the skin. This is necessary in order for it to be much more convenient and easier to work with. It will take hot water and a little time (by the way, it's better to conduct the first steps in the evening). When the skin is sufficiently moistened, it must be removed and dabbed with a clean cloth. All parts are glued together so that there is a gap of approximately 1 mm between them. This can be done with the help of regular scotch tape. First, two identical parts are stuck together in succession, then the strip is bent, and again two identical parts.
