To remove two-sided adhesive tape from the glass surface, you can use a simple stationery knife instead of a solvent. First you need to remove the base, and then gently scrape off the remnants of the glue. Then you will only have to apply a super cleaner for the glass - it can be purchased at any car dealer.

Do not use cleaning or detergent to remove residual acrylic adhesive. Double-sided adhesive tape does not get wet, so it's useless to try to remove it with ordinary water and detergent. If the surface with which you need to remove the glue, varnished, do not use dissolving agents and thermal effects. This can damage the surface. Lubricate the scotch with ether or eucalyptus oil and leave for a few hours. Then remove the substrate. Remains of glue can be removed with the help of a glass cleaner.
