The basic technique of creating

It's relatively easy to make a book with your own hands . To do this, you will need:

1. Text, in one of the following formats: .doc, .pdf or .djvu. The main condition is that the number of pages should be a multiple of four;

3. Stapler or thick thread with a needle, hacksaw for metal, construction (!) PVA glue, cotton monophonic fabric;

The first step is to print the desired text. To do this, create brochures with a volume of forty pages each. Next, each of the brochures, sew or fasten the stapler in the middle. Further in a pile of brochures the cuts from the end of the formed book are made. For this, using a hacksaw, a groove with a depth of three millimeters is cut evenly by a step of two centimeters an even number of times. After that, the end of the book is abundantly smeared with glue and clothed in a piece of dense fabric along the length equal to the parameters of the brochures, and on the width - on the front sides about three centimeters. Their parameters should exceed the length and width of brochures by 0.7 centimeters. Then from the dense fabric we cut out two cuts: the first is equal to the length of the thin cardboard and its width is +6 centimeters, the second differs from the above in length by seven centimeters.

Having prepared the details, we proceed to the formation of the cover. To do this, arrange the three rectangles tightly to each other so that the narrow one is in the middle. The first piece of fabric with glue is placed on the rectangles so that it evenly comes to the edges of wide pieces of cardboard. Next, the second section of the fabric is abundantly lubricated with glue and positioned along the width of the first so that along the length it evenly comes to the other side of the workpiece. When the glue dries, decorate the front side as you like.

The last step of the instruction on how to make a book with your own hands is to connect the contents and the cover. For this, the end of the brochures is smeared with a lot of glue and the cover is "planted" on it. After that, the first and last pages of booklets and book covers are pasted with sheets of paper similar to the one on which the pages were printed. The book is ready.

How to make a notebook yourself?

Depending on what type of notepad is needed, the process of creating it is also being built. If you want to create it in the form of a mini-book, in this case you just need to follow the instructions on how to make a book yourself, excluding the item about printing pages.

But there are other ways of making such a useful object. There is a very simple method of how to make a notebook yourself. To do this, you need a piece of paper forty-forty centimeters, thick cardboard, glue, scissors, braid, pencil and ruler.

A piece of paper is placed in squares of ten centimeters. Then cut along the parallel lines as follows: the first line is three squares, the second line starts from the square that has not been cut, and only three squares are cut again, the third replicates the first, and the fourth duplicates the second one. After that, the "harmonica" is formed from the prepared sheet. From the cardboard the squares are cut by a side of 13 cm and are glued to the first and last sheet of the accordion. The notepad is ready. For decoration on the front side we attach the braid and form the ties.
