How to increase immunity in a child: several recommendations
Our body is able to withstand various infections through the work of the immune system. In a collision with microbes and viruses, it produces immunity, which is somewhat different in children and adults. Due to its peculiarities, babies are more susceptible to most infections. Therefore, the question of how to improve the immunity of a child, is among the main ones for all parents.
Physicians identify specific and nonspecific immunity. The first kind depends on the person's illnesses and vaccinations made to him. The second one must deal with viruses of a non-specific nature, caused, as a rule, by pathogenic microbes. Such infections include, for example, bronchitis, otitis or tonsillitis. Thus, even a toddler who has a full set of vaccinations against these diseases can not be protected. The vaccines offered are seldom effective against nonspecific threats, and therefore the methods for improving the immunity of the child are usually chosen by the parents.
First of all, to restore a weakened children's immune system, it is necessary to have information about the presence of problems with the functioning of any internal organs of the child. The organism, afflicted with chronic diseases, is not able to resist the infections to the fullest. The psycho-emotional situation in the family, the conditions of everyday life, the atmosphere in the garden or an educational institution also provoke a deficit of immunity in children. To avoid problems of this kind, parents need to talk more often with their son (or daughter) about his affairs at school, with his peers, and surround him with love and care.
