The thing is that in such premises very often there is waterlogging, and not every air ventilation can cope with this without permanent airing. And given that such mansions need constant care of a person, it is best, in view of your constant absence, to install equipment for ventilation. Upholstered furniture is inappropriate here not only because it actively accumulates moisture, but also because it is essentially a dust collector. This means that coming here less than once a week, every time you arrive, you will have to do a wet cleaning of all surfaces of sofas, armchairs, etc. For the same reason, it is not advisable to purchase lighting sources with textile lampshades - it is much more difficult to care for them than for plastic ones.

What to do with the beds? Do not sleep on bare wooden boards! Sleep is not necessary, but it is better to hide the bed in closed shelves, cabinets or chests of drawers. This will not only save them from dampness and dust, but also from the unpleasant smell of the room, where they have not been ventilated for a long time.

Particular attention should be paid even to the interior doors. In principle, they can be any, but if they are made of wood - it must necessarily be covered with a layer of varnish or paint. And in cases where you decide on the glass in the door, choose the thickest options.

How to relate to rocking chairs, which some summer residents like so much? First, before buying, clearly determine where it will stand (usually this chair very quickly migrates to a damp garage, where it quickly deteriorates). Secondly, remember that respectable, upholstered with natural leather armchairs - for the office. In a suburban settlement, it would be much better to look like grandfather, with dozens of wooden curls. In addition, it is cheaper, more practical, easy to take care of and, if necessary, to repair.

Trying to make a second home from a little-visited dacha, many make a mistake. After all, this place should emphasize that you are in nature. In a number of cases, it turns out the other way around: as if from apartment four walls you move into four walls of country cottages - actually, everything.
