How to disable firewall?

Firewall - one of the necessary systems to protect our system from unauthorized exposure to third-party services and programs. It can be a built-in plan (standard Windows firewall) and installed (most often these are provided by the developers of antivirus systems). This method of protection very often creates a lot of trouble for users, especially when your operating system is unlicensed, or if you install some third-party product. By itself, the question is how to disable the firewall? Let's consider the ways of its solution below.

If we are talking about the standard version, for example, the Windows 7 firewall or the same good old XP, then people usually limit themselves to the most typical option - I went into the control panel and "cut it out". However, in fact the function is stopped, but the processes are not. How to disable the firewall in this case finally?

There are several methods to accomplish this. The first one is based on the command line. Let's look at it in more detail:

1. We register the "services.msc" command in the active window for executing tasks and press the "Enter" button (it's the same "Enter").

2. You will see a special window where you should find the line "Windows Firewall".

3. Using the right button of your mouse, we call the function menu and select "Properties".

4. Here in the "General" tab we find the column "Launch type" and select the parameter "Disabled" in it.

5. It remains at the bottom click on the "Stop" button to finally interrupt the process.

6. After confirm all the performed operations, click on the button "Ok".

In principle, this is all, however, as practice shows, and in this case, often skip processes that do not want to disconnect. Let's examine the second way how to disable the firewall, which is based on disabling profiles. If you view the "Advanced settings", it becomes clear that the network connections of the three profiles still work, while the central functionality is disabled (this is explained by the rules for creating user profiles that need to be "chopped" after changes in the system). In other words, our firewall is still partially working.

We take the following actions:

1. Open the properties of the firewall.

2. Here we have four profiles, but we are only interested in three of them: general, private, and domain profile.

3. In each one in the column "Firewall Status" select the line "Disconnect".

4. Do not forget to save your choice by clicking on the "Ok" button.

5. It remains only to check how effective our actions were. To do this, go back to the "Advanced Options" and look at the corresponding columns, where it should be written that these functions are inactive.

Thus, we completely disabled the built-in firewall from the company Vindous by two methods.

Now consider another problem that users face during various actions, for example, at the time of the launch of network and standard computer games and various programs that unprincipled climb into the network without our consent or try to involve any processes, resulting in a certain collapse. In fact, there is nothing complicated. If we are talking about a separate firewall of any type, then, as a rule, it turns off in a couple of clicks. An active icon is located on the side right panel between time and language selection. Just click on it with the right mouse button and select the function "Disable / Stop / Exit" or something like that.

If it is a full-fledged antivirus system, for example, Doctor Web, then there is an option as well as the whole antivirus "chop off", and separately disable the firewall by selecting the appropriate item and confirming its intention.
