How to delete recent documents?

Not all users know how to handle a personal computer at the level they would like. Everyone has secrets: someone visits forbidden sites, someone uses the computer for other purposes than work time, someone just secretive and does not like when third-party users learn about the manipulations performed on the PC.

The main enemy of secretive users is the recent documents. Some users turn off the function, but those who know about its existence. The same goes for browsers. When working with the Internet, all pages visited are stored in the history.

To exclude its formation, you can configure the WEB browser in a special way. Another way is to permanently delete the history so that other users do not have access to the resources that you visited.

On a Windows 7 computer, the most recent documents are configured as follows.
In the "Start" menu, properties are invoked with the right mouse button. In the window that appears, click the "Settings" button and go to the "Advanced" tab. Here you should find the "Recent Documents" section and set or clear the check box. A check mark indicates the list of documents, and its absence excludes this function.

In order to enter the list of documents, you need to call up the Start menu and go to the folder of recent documents. If you want to delete the generated files, then just select a part of the list or the entire list and press the Delete key.

In case of problems, the recent documents of Windows 7 are backed up with help for solving problems. To eliminate them, you can use a special link. In the new file download dialog, click the button with the name "Run" and follow the instructions of the operating system troubleshooting wizard that appeared.
