Homemade concrete mixer - a faithful assistant in the construction

You have to do construction work, which requires a large amount of concrete. Considering how to make it easier for yourself and speed up the process of preparing a solution of the desired consistency, pay attention to such a construction as a self-made concrete mixer. For its production suitable materials that are likely to be found in the garden or in the garage. Let's consider some simple variants on which the self-made concrete mixer can be collected.

A small model can be assembled even from the old washing machine "Baby". You only need to replace the inner nozzle with a longer bushing with metal blades. It will also require a mechanism for turning the machine to release from the solution.

To do this, a small swing, assembled from two metal triangles, connected by several crossbeams for stability, and a seat of sufficient width, will do. The self-made concrete mixer is attached using towing car belts to the seat of the swing. To pour the finished solution into a prepared container, it is sufficient to tilt the seat in the desired direction.

If you need a large amount of solution, you should consider how to make a self-made concrete mixer from a barrel. First of all, we will study the manual construction. To create it, you need metal goats, a barrel with a capacity of 100 - 200 liters, blades for mixing and a long pipe.

We put the barrel on its side and cut out the lid. Its width should be slightly larger than the width of the shovel, and the length should be 2/3 of the barrel's length. We fasten the cover with the help of loops, make a few latches and be sure to put on a rubber band that will prevent the water from escaping.

On the lid and bottom of the barrel, mark the center and make holes. Push our tank to prepare the solution for the pipe. With the help of welding attach it to the blade for mixing. The protruding parts of the pipe are bent in the form of handles, on the ends of which we put on special linings from the old bicycle handlebars. The connection between the shaft and the barrel is closed with rubber or silicone pads.

A few door handles are welded to the sides of the barrel . With their help, you can easily turn the container with the finished solution and pour it into a prepared container. Now we mount the barrel on the goats, in the upper points of which holes for the pipe (shaft) are provided. Our self-made concrete mixer is ready. Working with a partner, you can cook 2 - 3 cubic meters of solution per day in it.

To maximally simplify the process of solution preparation, an electric concrete mixer is used. Homemade construction is assembled on the basis of a metal barrel. A small analogue of it can be made from a milk flask.

Having a hand mixer from a metal barrel, you can improve its design by adding a small but powerful engine. To do this, the gear is attached to the handle. The engine, equipped with a suitable gear, is attached to a special side shelf. The working shaft of the concrete mixer is driven by a belt connecting the gears on the engine and the barrel. The only condition for the smooth operation of this design is the presence of electricity. If it is not feasible, then instead of an electric motor, use a gasoline engine or a motor-block.

An interesting design is obtained from a milk flask. In the bottom we make a small hole, into which we insert the shaft. The electric motor is fixed to the bottom with a few bolts. Inside the flask we insert the blades and fix them on the shaft with the help of welding. The cover of our concrete mixer already exists.

Therefore, it remains only to make a basis for it. For this, we make two triangles of a metal corner. We connect them with several transverse bars forming the bottom. Orienting on the shoulders of the flask, make two holes. We attach it to the pipe, which we fix in the upper points of the metal goats. After preparing a portion of the solution, it is enough to turn the jar to fill the previously prepared container.
