Holidays in Prague

One of the most beautiful cities in Europe is Prague. It seems that the time here has stopped 200 years ago. On the streets there are small houses, in the center of the city there are a lot of architectural buildings dating back to the Middle Ages. This city is called by some people "Stobashennym". To date, there are about 500 towers. A fascinating holiday in Prague has always attracted a lot of attention of tourists. There is not that flashy luxury inherent in the Arab countries, there are no high-tech areas like in America or Asia. Prague is a special world, which only true connoisseurs of beauty can know.

Those who for the first time spend their holidays in Prague will notice that there is a Petrin tower, reminiscent of the Paris Eiffel Tower, the island of Kampa, comparable to Venice. In addition, the city has a huge number of buildings, typical only for the Czech Republic. These include the Prague Castle - a unique architectural ensemble dating back to the early Middle Ages. It has not only cultural significance, but since 1993 it is the official residence of the president. On the territory of Prague Castle there is Zlata lane. It is known for its miniature two-story houses, built in the 16th century in the fortress wall. Initially, the guards settled here. At the Golden Lane one time there was a women's prison. Soon this area began to be considered not prosperous, as here mainly poor people and criminals lived. In the aftermath of Zlata, the street became an architectural monument and attracted numerous tourists with its small houses. When spending your vacation in Prague, you should definitely visit the Cathedral of St. Vita. Here lies the body of Saint Wenceslas, the guardian of the whole of the Czech Republic. A chapel was built around his grave in 1367. Above her in the coronation chamber are the jewels and attributes of the authority of St. Wenceslas, to which the crown belongs. There is a legend about this thing, saying that whoever dresses her is not right, will die within a year. This act was decided by only one person and did not live a year.

Any tourist who spends his vacation in Prague , must necessarily visit the Charles Bridge. Its length is only 516 meters, and the width is 10 meters. It is said that in 1990, the Dalai Lama said that this bridge is located exactly in the middle of the world and is the most neutral in terms of energy place. There were originally 30 statues that were created in the late 17th century. Today, on the Charles Bridge are their exact copies, because the originals under the influence of the external environment and time are quickly destroyed. Of all the statues stands out especially one, grated to a shine sculpture of St. Yana of Nepomuk. According to the legend, the desire of everyone who rubs it will necessarily come true.

If you plan to rest with your family, you can buy last-minute trips to Prague, which will significantly reduce your travel budget. This city is so full of interesting places that even doing a normal walking tour, you can learn a lot of new things.
