History of creation

In 1978 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) several talented musicians created a group. Its name changed several times. And only by the mid-eighties the guys chose the final version - "Auktsion". During this time, many good songs were written. It remained only to present them to the general public.

The first steps on the stage

In 1986, the rock band "Auktsion" appeared in the program "Return to Sorrento". The guys performed several compositions. After that, the whole of Leningrad learned about them. Songs such as "The She-wolf", "Wonderful Evening" and "The Book of Life" became popular with young people.

Soon the band pleased their fans with the release of the album "D'Observer". Why did the plate get such a strange name? Everything is very simple. This is just a reduction from the "Pulkovo Observatory". It was there that the concert was held. Some of the songs from the first album were transferred to the second. The new record was called "Everything is calm in Baghdad."

Career development

"Auktsion" is a musical group, the songs of which abound with politically incorrect expressions. But this is its highlight.

The guys performed not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders. They often went to Germany, Italy and the USA. The album "How I Became a Traitor" was partially recorded at a studio in France. When listening to such songs as "Lisa" and "My Evening", you are mentally transferred to Nevsky Prospekt, slightly powdered with snow. And immediately you realize how much musicians missed their homeland.

In 1990, the "Auction" group presented its new work - the album "Ass" - to listeners. However, the record was sold with a more politically correct title - "Hollow". The song of the group "Auktsion" "Airplane" almost became the anthem of the Soviet youth.

The conquest of new peaks

In 1991 our heroes recorded the album "Bodun". After the introduction of this record, a new wave of popularity hit the group. The guys worked not only on the quality of music, but also on the semantic load of texts. Listening to the "Victory Day", it is impossible to stand still. The feet themselves throw you into the air. There are tears of joy and pride on the face of the great country that defeated fascism. In the album, the song "Winter", perfect in its essence, is presented. And the composition "Fa-fa" already from the first notes drives mad (in a good sense of the word). Fans of the group highly appreciated the amazing music and well-chosen texts.

In 1992, the team began to cooperate with the legendary Alexei Khvostenko. He is the author of the song "The Golden City". This composition was brilliantly performed by Boris Grebenshchikov. What did the "Auktsionu" get? St. Petersburg musicians recorded "The Teapot of Wine". When listening to this song there is a feeling that it was created by someone from the participants of "Auktsion". But this is not so. The text belongs to A. Khvostenko. St. Petersburg musicians knowingly chose him as a companion. After all, the creativity of this man is close to them.

Released in 1993, the album "Bird" and completely turned the public opinion about our heroes. If earlier the "Auction" group was oriented to a narrow circle of listeners, now everything has changed. Songs like "The Road", "It's Not Too Late" and "My Love", people of different age categories and musical preferences can appreciate.

Almost two years the collective was in a creative crisis. There was a shortage of literate texts with deep meaning. The complicated situation in the country also made itself felt. The situation was saved by the acquaintance of Leonid Fedorov with the poetry of V. Khlebnikov.

With the album "The Lodger of the Peaks" (1995), the group acquired even more admirers. You can not select specific songs. After all, in this case they are perceived as something one, indivisible.

In the following years, the band continued to record albums, perform at the largest venues in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and toured Europe.
