The life of Vladimir Petrovich Lukin was short, but extremely saturated. The main were the war years. He passed it from the very first until the very last day. Everything that was before and after the war is just a frame of these major years. Accustomed to fighting with the enemy hand-to-hand, face to face, he dies in peace time by the hand of a hidden enemy and remains in eternity on the battle post.

Who is Lukin Vladimir Petrovich? You will learn about this after reading the article.

It is named in honor of Prince Vladimir

The fate of VP Lukin was closely connected with the war by a multitude of threads. His birthday (July 13 (26), 1916) coincided with the height of the Brusilov breakthrough - the last successful offensive of Russia in the First World War. Provincial and far from military operations, the town of Kursk turned into a military hospital, where wounded soldiers and officers from the South-Western Front were brought. Even captured Turks visited here for healing in 1916, and the boy, who was just born, seemed to have absorbed the atmosphere of war and wounds. Three times he will be wounded when he becomes a soldier of the Great Patriotic War. And while he was named Vladimir - in honor of Prince Vladimir the Saint, whose memory day falls on July 15 (28).

Vladimir Lukin: biography. FZU - starting a career

Only six years old Volodya Lukin was behind the school bench, and the eleventh school is the oldest in Kursk - today he is proud to bear his name. A commemorative plaque reads: "The Hero of the Soviet Union Lukin Vladimir Petrovich studied here." In those far-away thirties a fellow from the working-class family could not wait to become independent. Industrialization was going on in the country, and skilled workers were required, so he went to the factory factory, and two years later - to the plant. Moulder is a work of high qualification, requiring knowledge, spatial thinking, health, strength and endurance.

The number of factories in Kursk in those years grew rapidly: the plant of synthetic rubber, the "battery", the tannery, the furniture and shoe factories ... There is no doubt that Vladimir could have made an excellent career in industry, if not for the conscription to the army, stretched out for Five long years of war.

It is necessary to become an army commander

The draft age at that time began at 21, and the service lasted three years. In 1937 for Vladimir it was time for urgent service in the Red Army, he was in the infantry. This type of army was then experiencing an acute shortage of commanding cadres. The soldier Lukin received the assignment: to become a commander. In the staff of each regiment there were regimental schools for the preparation of the junior commander's post. VP Lukin had to study a lot in the army, making up for everything that had been missed in his childhood. Finally, he became a sergeant-major, after completing classes at the school of his regiment. Then there were training courses for commanders. They were held in the summer of 1941, so that the war met him in the rank of lieutenant.

Two environments and one wound

It seemed that there was no chance for Lieutenant Lukin to survive in the first year of the war: it was the platoon commanders who died first of all, because they had to inspire the soldiers, get up to the attack and lead them in desperate and difficult situations.

Lukin Vladimir Petrovich, whose biography is presented to your attention, commanded a battalion, which was part of the glorious 9th Army, which was at the disposal of the Southern Front. In the most difficult first year of the war, this army twice fell into the environment and with great losses broke out of it.

Persistent defensive battles in the Donets basin, beyond Rostov, offensive operations that stopped one tank army of Kleist ... How many losses our troops incurred! He also received a non-dangerous injury a year after the outbreak of hostilities. After a month of treatment in the hospital, Lieutenant Lukin returns to the Southern Front.

The diversionary fighter squad

The end of the summer of 1942 - the hard days of the defense of Stalingrad. At the same time the Germans are trying to get to the oil of the Caucasus. Vast territories are occupied by invaders. Returning from the hospital, Lieutenant V. P. Lukin heads the youth (he was then 26 years old) subversive fighter squad - they were called "hawks". Thrown "hawks" in the rear of the occupied lands to help partisans, organizing sabotage and intelligence gathering.

With a huge risk to life, the detachment's soldiers destroyed the enemy's living force, its equipment, and allowed the trains to slope. The detachment of Lukin worked in Transcaucasia and the North Caucasus, participated in battles for Novorossiysk and Krasnodar. Heavy injury and a 4-month treatment did not prevent him, returning to the system, again lead the fighter squad.

In the spring of 1943, Vladimir Lukin became captain. Under his command, the battalion, subordinate to the infantry regiment No. 818, fights. After the victory of our troops at Stalingrad, the fronts are reorganized. Captain Lukin fights in the composition of the Steppe Front.

Starry hour - February 22, 1944

There are moments in a person's life in which all the experience of the past has been compressed, and he acts at the limit of his possibilities. Such a moment came in the life of Captain Lukin in the early autumn of 1943. This happened during the Battle of the Dnieper. The battalion of Captain Lukin crossed to the right bank of the Dnieper and strengthened on the captured area. The Fascists attempted seven times to throw Soviet soldiers off the coast, but without success. The battalion of Lukin confidently acted in the rear of the enemy under the command of an experienced commander in sabotage. The soldiers with desperate courage went into hand-to-hand combat - and won! With lightning action, they swept away on their way the enemy's living force and his technique. 120 fascists were killed, mortars seized, machine guns, 4 guns. The village of Aula, and then the railway station Voskoboynya, was liberated. Furious Nazi attacks with the support of 11 tanks in order to restore the cut off transport highway were not successful: the right bank remained behind us. This feat was marked by the commander of the front and the government. For heroic actions behind enemy lines, Captain Lukin was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal. Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on its awarding was issued on February 22, 1944. And two months after the award, the 28-year-old captain was again seriously injured and was hospitalized for a long time.

"We are half-Europe in plastunsky plowed ..."

In the battles for the liberation of Europe , about a million Soviet soldiers were killed. Death did not touch VP Lukin even this time. As commander of the battalion 1149 regiment in the 2nd and 3rd Ukrainian fronts, he participated in operations to liberate Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Czechia. Five capitals greeted the Russian soldier, who had been following all the roads of the war day after day. In Moscow on May 9, the Salute of Victory sounded, and its combat unit carried out combat maneuvers in the area of Prague, putting the last point in the European theater of war.

Commanders go to the reserve

Returning to the USSR, Captain Vladimir Lukin served for a time in Odessa: conducted military exercises, organized recruiting campaigns. In the fall of 1945, a second wave of demobilization began in the country. Servicemen of 1906-1915 years of birth left the army, those who received three or more wounds in military operations, and those who served in the Red Army more than seven years. A severe wound in 1944 proved decisive - VP Lukin became one of the 2.8 million soldiers and officers who were fired into the reserve in the second wave of demobilization.

His place in a peaceful life, Captain Vladimir Petrovich Lukin did not find right away. He headed the agricultural artel named after the 18th party congress, worked as an inspector of the district financial department. Professions are too quiet for the soldier, and even more so for the former commander of the subversive detachment. In 1949, Vladimir Petrovich once again changed his place of work, which became fatal for him. "I want to fight the criminal element," he commented on his decision. Let's not forget that Vladimir had 6 classes of the main school behind him.

The last service of the hero

It is not excluded that the captain got into the criminal investigation bodies by party mobilization. The criminogenic situation in the country after the war was alarming. The amnesties on the occasion of the victory determined the release of the mass of criminals to freedom, the terrorists were engaged in Benderov and other nationalists. The militiamen did not have enough, their shortcoming was replenished by former soldiers who did not have experience in peace.

Biography VP Lukin was suitable for the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: the working family, no repressed, was not captured. The combat commander becomes an intern and assistant to an operative authority. There were a lot of work: disturbed both local bandit groups, and visiting terrorists. In the city, here and there shots were heard, people could not walk peacefully along the streets. The former "hawk" used to act quickly and independently.

May Day in 1952 VP Lukin went with the police officer N. Kravchenko on his last business trip. Together they wanted to detain especially dangerous bandits in Donetsk. This operation was not documented anywhere in the documents and immediately became a secret, since police officers from Donetsk did not return, the criminals shot them. Without any newspapers, residents of Kursk learned about the tragedy and came to spend the last journey of young operatives: Vladimir Petrovich in the year of death was only 35 years old. Posthumously, Captain VP Lukin was awarded the Order of the Red Star.

Lukin Vladimir Petrovich - Hero of the Soviet Union, which is permanently inscribed on the lists of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city of Kursk. Bright memory to him ...
