"Hermitage-Kazan" - enlightenment center of the capital of Tatarstan

"Hermitage-Kazan" - the so-called museum and exhibition center, located in the Tatar capital. His creation was preceded by a certain work carried out in accordance with the program of cooperation concluded between the cultural institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Hermitage.

The first exhibition

Everything began in 1997. The exhibition "Treasures of Khan Kubrat", demonstrated exhibits from Pereshchepinsky treasure. In 1912, 13 km from Poltava near the village of Maloe Pereshchepino, an invaluable treasure was discovered by a boy who had stumbled over a golden vase. The teenager fell into a mine with funeral supplies of Khan Kubrat, who is considered the founder of Great Bulgaria. The mine was considered to be the burial place of the khan. And the treasures turned into priceless exhibits. They were brought from St. Petersburg to Kazan.

A wonderful start

According to the results of the exhibition, which was held in Kazan with great success, the catalog "Treasures of Khan Kubrat" was published in Tatar, Russian and English. The first experience of cooperation between the Hermitage and the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, which attracted much public attention, allowed such projects to be implemented on a regular basis. And for the period from 1997 to 2004, five large exhibitions were held, which formed a new look at the world history of culture among residents and visitors of Kazan.

New Center

All this made it possible first to sign in 2004 a memorandum of understanding between the Hermitage and the ministries of culture of Tatarstan on the intentions to create the corresponding object, and to open a fine scientific, educational and cultural-educational center, named "The Hermitage," by the millennium of Kazan, which was celebrated on August 24-30, 2005 -Kazan. " Much support for the discovery was provided by Sh. Shaimiev, then president of the republic.

Time-appropriate

In the capital of Tatarstan there is the Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin", on the territory of which there is a beautiful old building of the former Junker College. It was built in 1840 by the architect Pyatnitsky. In the Soviet years, the third floor was built, in which the center "Hermitage-Kazan", which thus became the structural subdivision of the Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin", was located. On 1000 square meters of the southern half of the floor are exposition, lecture, information and conference rooms, as well as computer classes.

New information resource of the capital of Tatarstan

The center opened with the exhibition Golden Horde. History and Culture ". And then an agreement was signed on further cooperation between the Hermitage-Kazan Center and the State Hermitage. It is difficult to overestimate the opening of a modern center equipped with modern equipment. It is used both as a platform for various selector video conferences, scientific meetings, various exhibitions and vernissages, and as a student club and press center. Here, leading experts from St. Petersburg conduct a systematic Hermitage lecture hall. Thus, the center "Hermitage-Kazan" fully corresponds to the concept of a new exclusive information resource and museum center not only of the capital of Tatarstan, but of the whole region.

"Hermitage" is a popular name for Kazan

In the capital of this republic there are several other objects, in the name of which the word "Hermitage" occurs. So called the garden, and the hall, and the club. In the historical center of the city, in Vakhitovsky district there is an object called "Hermitage (garden, Kazan)", less often "Hermitage garden". The park, located on the territory of 4 hectares and located not far from the central square of Tukay, is located between two ravines and two hills - Marusovsky and Butlerovsky.

One of the Kazan "Hermitage"

This is an old park, changed several names associated with its owners, surrounded by toponymic or "urban" legends. He had the glory of "bad place", because the cruel owner of Vorozhtsov, allegedly, marked the death of his serfs and even his own son, and then buried bodies without funeral service in the garden. Therefore, the current "Hermitage" garden (Kazan) is full of ghosts. It has a lot (about 500) of trees, there are even prerevolutionary plantings. Interestingly, many trees have a curved shape, which is a rarity for urban vegetation. The rumor considers this distortion as an affirmation of the "bad history" that took place here. Nevertheless, this is a favorite park of townspeople, restored to the 1000th anniversary of the capital.

Night club

And what is the "Hermitage" club? Kazan has recently acquired a very large number of nightclubs. One of them is the Hermitage. How does it differ from its fellow humans? Over the years of its existence (the club opened on October 20, 2006) ERMITAGE has acquired a steady reputation as one of the best nightclubs of its kind. Now a huge, for 2000 seats club "Hermitage" (Kazan) is not inferior in quality to the events held by Moscow. Large areas of the Hermitage, which include a dance floor, an amphitheater that meets all modern standards, technical equipment (including a 4x7 meter LED screen), cozy VIP lodges - all this made the club a favorite place for citizens and guests of the capital of Tatarstan. But to a greater extent this popularity was promoted by the fact that thanks to ERMITAGE, the performance of world-famous stars in Kazan became the norm.

New format

Recently, this institution, which opened as a nightclub, has acquired a different status - in 2011 the format of this site was updated. Now it's called the Hermitage Hall. Kazan, thanks to him, becomes the center of modern music. People come here from everywhere. It should be added that there is a school of modern Go-Go dance at the Hermitage Hall. This establishment is located in the very center of Kazan, near Tukaya Square, on Fatykh Amirkhan Avenue, 1. The nearest metro stations are Kozya Sloboda and Kremlyovskaya.
