Handmade soap: recipes of an original gift

Each of us has given presents for once. Even the most-most selfish nature gave gifts to himself. And in our time, with all, it would seem, a huge choice, the problem of the original and memorable gift rises quite sharply. Especially before the mass holidays: New Year, February 23, March 8 ... It is necessary to congratulate not only relatives and friends, but also a large number of friends, colleagues (or classmates), teachers, kindergarten teachers, doctors, etc. What can we say about such celebrations as Birthday or All Valentine's Day?

Financial costs loom, you know, what ... At the same time, I do not really want to give up chocolate with a postcard or a Chinese trinket, but I want to please a small and interesting gift (it is desirable that only you know its true value). There are, of course, numerous shops of "unusual" gifts, only their assortment does not change, practically, for years and has become quite banal. So what to think? Try handmade soap. Recipes for its manufacture are so diverse that you can easily create an ideal gift with your own hands. And, not necessarily in the form of a small interesting surprise, because man-made soap can become a serious, good gift, if you approach the matter wisely.

Of course, you will need some ingredients and simple tools. Before brewing handmade soap, get at least the simplest components, and this:

  • Soap base or usual children's soap ;
  • Oil-base (the same base oil, for example, peach, almond, apricot and any other);
  • Essential oil (depending on the needs of the skin);
  • Dye (either special for soap, or food, or natural in the form of chocolate, cocoa, vegetable or fruit juices);
  • Additives (milk, glycerin, honey, herbal infusions and decoctions, cream, etc., and for soap-scrub - ground coffee, oat flakes or nut shells);
  • Water (preferably, purified, to dilute the future soap extract).

Of course, to make handmade soap, you need dishes, and it is advisable that in the future nothing else but soap will be cooked in this dish. If you melt components in a microwave oven, then you will need the corresponding one. But it is better, after all, to boil soap on a water bath, so two old pots will be enough for you. To mix the future toilet-bath accessories donate a spoon, and let from now on it will be just for this purpose.

To get quality handmade soaps, recipes must be kept very precisely. When you fill your hand, you can create your own proportions of components, but for now take a small grater and if you take as a basis a baby soap, grind it on it. Then mix together one tablespoon of glycerin and base oil and put the mixture on a steam bath. When the oil-glycerin mixture warms up, gradually add grated soap to it, and to accelerate the melting process, add a little water.

When the soap is completely melted and mixed with glycerin and the base, start adding essential oil to it. But remember that when adding it to handmade soaps, recipes recommend only a few drops, not tea spoons or milliliters. After each "impregnation", mix the mass well so that the smell of oil spreads evenly over the soap. After finishing with essential oil, proceed to adding the dye and filler. The thoroughly stirred hot mass should now be poured into molds. They can serve anything: forms for baking curly cookies, children's sand molds, yoghurt jars and even candy-shaped ones.

Spilling the forms of handmade soaps, the recipes advise you to let it cool down first, and then put in the refrigerator. When it freezes well, remove it from the molds (you can put the molds in hot water so that the soap is easier to remove) and leave for a couple of days to dry. That's all, soap is ready for use. And if it turned out really beautiful and fragrant, decorate it in the original packaging and give it from the bottom of the heart.
