Group "Yorsh". Biography

"Yorsh" is a punk rock band from Russia. The group was created in 2003 by three friends in a small town near Moscow. However, the first album was released in 2006. Many fans believe that it was then that the band started.

"Yorsh": the history of the founding of the group

The group was founded after the dissolution of the school musical group, which included Dmitry Sokolov and Mikhail Kandrakhin. At the beginning of the journey, the guys did not even have their own tools, so instead of summer vacations they worked as porters to get money to buy them. It was necessary to rehearse at the dacha, only after a while the group "Yorsh" was able to move to the House of Culture. The next three years, the composition tried itself in different styles, and also changed a number of participants and names. The result was the current name and repertoire in the style of English rock bands of the seventies.

In 2006, the guys started creating the first album. At the same time Denis Oleinik entered the band , who took the place of the vocalist. At the time of recording the album due to disagreements Oleinik left the band. Addition was made with the help of Sokolov.

The album "Yorsh" was able to finish the album in the same year and soon it was released. The record was so successful that it immediately brought fame and popularity to the guys, and especially in the rock circles. Some songs have become very popular and are considered hits of the collective.

Second album

The second disc was released in 2008. "Louder ?!" Became even more popular than the first album. In addition to the ordinary, social themes appeared in the texts. The audience of the group has considerably expanded. The collective began to act as a warm-up for many Russian punk bands. For the year the guys managed to hold about fifty concerts. In addition, the group "Yorsh" began to leave with performances outside the Moscow region. At the same time, the Internet has an amateur clip for the song "In a circle", which scored more than a million views.

In 2009, the team left Kandrakhin, and its place was taken by Shtolin Denis.

In the same year the group "Yorsh" began to participate in many festivals and projects, in which they managed to occupy high places. They were on the opening for the band "The King and the Jester".

During the concert in Kaliningrad, the children were assaulted. At the end of the performance, an explosive burst was thrown at the crowd, which, by a lucky coincidence, hit the stairs. As a result, only two people were injured. Responsibility for the assassination attempt was assumed by the local right-wing radical group.

Decay and reunion

In early 2010, Dmitry Sokolov said that he was leaving the "Yorsh". The photo of the group with information about the disintegration spread instantly between the fans, who were very surprised by this news. Unexpectedly, care was also for the band's musicians. The reason for the parting of Dmitry called the lack of time and ideas for new albums.

Despite the disintegration, the musicians soon began to gather and conduct rehearsals, and in 2011 the light saw a new record - "Good and Evil." The album has replenished the group's repertoire with many new hits, with which she soon began to tour the cities.

The group now

Subsequent years the team actively conducts performances, but the musicians noted that their concerts were less in demand. The reason they called the decline of the punk movement, as well as the crisis. The former success to the group came only in 2013.

In October of the same year the collective released a new album - "Lessons of Hatred". Some songs were able to gain a foothold on Russian radio stations. The band presented a new record in many cities, as well as on "Our Radio".

In May 2014, "Yorsh" with the help of fans raised funds, took and released a video for the song "For 50". In the summer of the same year the collective took part in many rock festivals, and also announced tours to many cities of Russia and Belarus. In addition, the musicians said that they are going to release a new album. Soon a new member joined the group, and elements of metal began to appear in the works.

In 2014, about sixty concerts of the musicians of the band "Yorsh" were held. The composition of the group, in addition to performances, held creative meetings and participated in radio programs.

In 2015, the team released the album "The Fetters of the World", which was well received by fans of not only the group, but all punk rock. New songs immediately entered many musical tops. The group decided to hold a big tour of Russian and Belarusian cities. In the autumn the team left Stolin Denis.

Punk band "Yorsh" is one of the most popular bands not only in Russia, but also in the CIS countries.
