Gasification of private houses: project, documents, cost

Private country houses can be heated using boilers of different types. Demand is both electric and diesel and, of course, gas equipment. Most owners of country houses prefer to install the latter type of boilers. Of course, the gasification of private houses must be done in compliance with certain rules and regulations.

Types of projects

Gas equipment, in comparison with alternative devices, has a number of undeniable advantages. The main advantage of heating a house with its use is cheapness. Actually the gas boiler itself is more expensive than electric and even diesel. However, since the price of "blue fuel" is quite low, in the future the owners of the house can save on heating a lot of money.

Most often gasification of private houses is carried out in those settlements where the highway is built. In this case, the project includes a method of connecting to it, as well as calculations of the length of the pipes necessary for bringing gas to the building.

If there are no highways in the village, a project of autonomous gasification is being developed. In this case, among other things, the location of the gas holder and the ways of connecting it to the boiler are determined.

What standards should be observed

Gasification of private houses is carried out in accordance with the legal norms. Permission to fit into the mainline or connect to a gas tank can be issued only if:

• The plot is owned;

• In the house itself there is a room, according to the standards suitable for installing the boiler.

If both of these conditions are met, you can start assembling the necessary documentation for gasification and selecting the most suitable equipment.

Requirements for premises

Gas boiler, according to regulations, can be installed only in such rooms:

• Non-residential rooms. Usually, boilers are placed in the kitchen or in a specially allocated room. The boiler room can be located on any floor, including on the basement.

• Having a volume of at least 15 m ³ (a deviation from the norm of 0.2 m in the greater or lesser direction is allowed) and a ceiling height of at least 2.5 m.

• Have a window with an opening window. The exhaust volume must be at least three times.

The above standards are provided for boilers up to 60 kW. Gas supply at home in the country often involves the use of this type of equipment. More powerful boilers are installed by private traders rarely.

What documents will be required?

In order to gasify a private house, you will need:

• Copy of the technical passport on the building itself. Get this document in BTI.

• Documents for all purchased gas equipment.

Which authorities need to visit

First of all, the owner of a country house will need to go to the local architectural and planning office. In charge of this particular organization is the gasification of private houses. Here you will need to get permission in writing. Next, you should visit the fire department (or housing and utilities) and call an inspector at the house to inspect the chimney. If it is available and work capacity, the owners of the house are given the appropriate act on their hands.

Then it will be necessary to go to the local gas station or the branch of the regional gas company and get technical conditions for carrying gas into the house. Here you will need to write an application on the form provided by the employees. It should indicate the approximate demand for gas volume per hour. It will be considered within two weeks. Then the owner of the house will be given technical conditions.

Project development

This is done either by the staff of Gorgas, or by the engineers of a specialized company. When developing the project:

• A scheme is made for laying pipes to the house;

• The location of the main entrance to the building is determined.

The length of the pipes used to connect the house to the gas pipeline will also largely depend on the cost of the procedure.

Autonomous gasification is performed using a gas holder. When developing the project in this case, Gorgas employees will have to determine the location of its installation. Choose a site for installation gasholder taking into account that it should be located not less than two meters from the fence of the site and not less than 5 meters from the house.

After the drafting of the project, a contract is signed with the organization for connection works. Experts will be able to start this procedure only after the project has been coordinated with the technical department of the company that deals with the supply of gas to a specific locality. After connecting the house to the main road, its owners will have to, among other things, sign a contract for equipment maintenance. Cost

Connecting the house to the centralized highway in our time is, unfortunately, not too cheap. The total cost of gasification includes:

• Collection of documentation. Will have to pay a different kind of state duty.

• Drafting of the project. In this case, everything depends on the complexity of the work. The cost of developing a project can fluctuate within fairly wide limits - from 2 to 20 thousand rubles.

• The layout of the gas pipeline itself. The cost of work in most cases is about 1 thousand rubles per meter.

• Cutting into the main. For this work will have to give about 10 thousand rubles.

Well, of course, the cost should include the price of the boiler, pipes, radiators, etc. The equipment of this type can also not be called cheap. The cost of the boiler, for example, depending on the capacity, can be 17 000-40 000 rubles. Modern bimetal radiators cost 3-7 thousand rubles. Of course, autonomous gasification will cost even more. The minimum cost of gasholder is 60 thousand rubles.

Safety precautions

After connecting the house to the highway its owners, of course, will have to comply with the rules for the use of gas equipment. The operation of the boiler can only be started under the supervision of the specialists of the company with which the service contract was concluded.
