As soon as the "Shark VAZ" appeared on the streets, it shocked absolutely all passers-by. Nobody could imagine that from a familiar Russian car you can make such a beautiful car. But the two brothers Andranik and Arsen Vartanov brought to life the dream of many.
History
It all began with an understatement of the suspension of the car. The brothers did not intend to continue tuning their vehicle, but once they started, they could not stop. The next stage in the transformation of a banal car into a sports car was the engine compartment. Completely replacing the factory engine with a new atmospheric, 180 hp engine. And a volume of 1.7 liters, the guys changed the idea of the domestic car industry. However, all this was just the beginning of a long road, which VAZ 2108 "Black Shark" overcomes today.
Testing
It was decided to test the novelty immediately in the case. And in the first races "VAZ Black Shark" justified the forces invested in it. Many eyewitnesses of this event said that the car easily competed with foreign cars. More than 4 times Andranik and Arsen were picking up the chassis. Then they increased the wheelbase by 12 cm. And then the guys pondered the controllability of their car. They installed subframe structures to stiffen the machine.
Further processing
A new kind of "Shark VAZ" acquired gradually. The brothers lowered the roof to give a sportier look and reduce the gap between the shirt and the glass span. According to the mechanics, the new image appeared after the complete assembly of the suspension and wheelbase. In order to turn an ordinary VAZ 2108 into a Shark, the guys had to work hard and invest a lot of their energy, imagination and creative ideas. Details for tuning were decided to be made of fiberglass, since its thickness is no more than 4 mm. Details of this type are used on the most modern cars to reduce the weight of the car. On normal understating of the roof, the guys did not stop. And it was decided to make it panoramic. So on the domestic automobile industry, no one has done so and the brothers have become pioneers on this path. When the work on the roof was over, the car completely lost its original appearance. Both brothers have always been fans of expensive foreign cars. So when it came to the door, one of them immediately remembered the "Lamborghini." Sketches and drawings of loops that install on their cars their idols were taken from the Internet. With the help of one of the friends working on tank production, the Vartanovs were able to translate this insane idea into reality. Now, when the car body was ready, the engine was taken out of it and the car was sent for painting.
Engine
While the car itself was on the painting works and acquired a spectacular appearance, the brothers did not waste time in vain. Taking out the heart of his sports car, he was taken to the specialists, who, in turn, installed a turbo. Another important point. The turbine was delivered from Greddy, and the receiver was replaced by a 3.5 liter SVR. Also put forged pistons and light connecting rods. When the guys finished the work on increasing the engine's power, it came to the cooling system. The brothers put the oil system and powerful fans. Due to all the upgrades, the car's power has increased to 250 hp. By this time, the "Shark VAZ" received a fully painted body, it was delivered to the guys. Andranik and Arsen began to install the engine and new parts in it. The glasses on the VAZ 2110 "Shark" were installed by specialists, as the roof was understated and their shapes became non-standard. The work did not stop, and as soon as the car returned to the brothers, it was immediately put in box. It was there that the work on noise insulation and installation of skirts was carried out. Andranik and Arsen decided to leave the factory panel and already put sensors on the electronic system of the car. The interior was fitted with luxurious seats from the company Porche. They are equipped with an electric drive and fully sports design. The salon is still at the development stage. But the brothers promise to please everyone with a non-standard design and there is no doubt in their words.
Future plans
The guys did a great job. From the usual "2108" they made a truly unique "Black Shark". Soon the brothers plan to complete the development of their car. And already to let out the car on roads of Krasnodar territory. They will also participate in exhibitions and try to show the "Shark" in all regions of Russia. More than 3 years have gone into the creation of this masterpiece. The name was invented, based on an external aggressive kind of machine. Surely, each of the car owners wanted to transform their vehicle and give it an original look. The Vartanov brothers were able to realize almost all dreams. Their cars, they also made excellent advertising for their own studio and now there is no release from customers. At the moment "Shark VAZ" has visited several photo sessions, and this is only the beginning of the star path. Now another project called Restyling 918 has been launched. The guys promise to make it as unforgettable.
