A lot of culinary ideas arise in my head, which I want to put into practice. Hands are itching to cook something very beautiful, very tasty and very unusual. On the threshold of the summer, soon and you will have the opportunity in unlimited quantities to eat vegetables and fruits. I'll tell you some good recipes from cabbage.

This vegetable should be indispensable on the Russian table. It absorbed so much vitamin and trace elements, which, perhaps, in this combination have no other vegetables. Cabbage contains glucose, fructose, fiber, folic acid, digestible protein, vitamins A, C, B, a whole complex of minerals. Because of its simplicity, it is unlikely that the casserole will fit for a festive table. I cook this dish usually for dinner. Cabbage is easily digested, and, therefore, it can be served both for lunch and dinner. Let's start with the ingredients. You will need:

  • 1 average head of cabbage;
  • 500 gr. Minced meat;
  • 2 medium bulbs;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 1 cup of milk;
  • 100 gr. Hard cheese;
  • Fresh greens;
  • Salt, pepper, spices.

Casserole from cabbage with meat prepare for about an hour. So, let's start with cabbage. That the dish did not turn out hard it is better to make of a young cabbage. If the young is not yet, you can take the old one, but you need to shred very small. I make it easier for myself and let through the vegetable cutter of the food processor. Salt a little and set aside.

We are going to make minced meat. Finely chop the onion and fry until golden brown. In a deep bowl, add fried onions, minced meat and spices for meat. Mix well, preferably with hands. For pouring it is necessary to beat up two eggs with milk in a blender, a little salt and pepper. Now take the form for baking and lubricate it with oil. Lay out a layer of cabbage, pour a little egg-milk mixture, lay out a layer of forcemeat (mincemeat is not all, the dish will be puffed). Above again, a thin layer of cabbage, then a layer of minced meat, watered with a mixture, close again with cabbage and pour the remaining mixture on top. For beauty, you can sprinkle a little grated cheese and fresh herbs, the cabbage casserole will turn out with a beautiful crust. To make a dish look nice on a serving plate, spread it better with a special spatula for the cake. As a sauce, you can serve low-fat sour cream on the table.

There are several variations of this dish. I'll share one more - a casserole with cabbage and potatoes. To all the above ingredients, only potatoes are added. Two potatoes must be cleaned and rubbed on a large grater, also slightly add salt. We do all the same, only for each layer of forcemeat we lay out another layer of grated potatoes. The taste becomes more diverse. The puffed casserole looks very nice and appetizing on the plate.

For a dietary option, a cabbage casserole can be generally without a filling. Finely chopped cabbage you just need to salt, pepper, pour the egg-milk mixture, for ten minutes until ready to sprinkle with grated cheese.
