Facial hair removal

Hair on the face can be a source of discomfort for women. With this in mind, physicians and cosmetologists have developed methods for solving this problem. If you have thick eyebrows or hair on the upper lip, there are many different ways to deal with this problem.

Hair removal on the face at home:

9. There are agents based on calcium hydroxide and sodium or calcium thioglycollate, which dissolve the hair. However, they can cause serious irritation and / or burns to the skin and eyes, so their use is not recommended.

1. Electroepilation - the use of electric current to remove hair. At the same time, the hair follicle is destroyed. The main disadvantages of this remedy are electric shock, infection from non-sterile needles and scars caused by improper technique.

2. Laser hair removal is more popular than other types of hair removal, but it is not a permanent remedy and can cause skin discoloration (darkening or lightening), swelling, inflammation and infected hair follicles. However, one session lasts only 15 minutes - nothing at all compared to the clock necessary to conduct hair removal on the face with the help of electrolysis. The only exception is that the laser can not be used inside the nose and ear. You can expect to get rid of hair for up to one year. After this, it will be necessary to repeat the treatment.

3. Medicinal preparation "Eflornitin". It greatly slows the growth of hair on the face.

Before choosing this or that method, note that any hair removal on the face can cause some problems: skin inflammation, burns, damage, scars, ingrown hair, infected hair follicles. In addition, some methods can cause health problems and irreversible damage or have a very high cost. Therefore, be extremely careful and do not forget that health is first of all!
