Euphorbia Triangular

Genus spurge triangular from South-West Africa, it looks like a candlestick with candles. The plant is poisonous, it is a stem succulent. In room conditions, the spurge grows usually up to 50-60 cm, if the plants are not restricted in growth, it can reach a height of up to 4 m. Euphorbia triangular refers to photophilous plants, tolerates direct sunlight, so it is customary to place it in well-lit vestibules and on window sills from the sunny side. In winter, the spurge is seldom watered, in the summer months the watering should be moderate, only to prevent the earth from drying up.

Between watering the soil must be allowed to dry thoroughly. Watering spurge is triangular
Standing water with a temperature of 18 to 22C. The plant perfectly tolerates dry air, does not require spraying. Sometimes a hygienic shower is shown at room temperature. Beginning in the spring, the spurge of the triangular must be fed regularly. You can use for this purpose fertilizers for cactus.

Earth mixture for plants consists of peat, turf ground with the addition of sand. You can also add perlite and brick crumb to the earth mix. Cactus spurge triangular can be planted in a ready-made earth mixture, designed specifically for succulents or cacti.

Spurge is triangular, the reproduction of which is a fairly simple process, takes root very quickly. Cuttings of plants are dried in the air for a couple of days, and then they are planted in an earthen mixture. To give a bushy form, the spurge is plucked. In some cases, the plant needs a garter. Every year it is necessary to change the top layer of soil, adult plants are transplanted every 2-3 years. The transplantation is carried out at the beginning of the growing season in the spring. The soil for transplantation should be well drained and air-permeable.

The superficial root system of the milkweed is poorly developed, so the plant does not need a large pot. However, if the above-ground part has reached a large size, then you need to take care of the stability of the pot and its sufficient volume. If there is a need for transplantation of an adult tall plant, heavy stones are stacked for stability on the bottom of the pot. For the normal development and growth of the milkweed trihedral, a good drainage system is a prerequisite.

With room-grown spurge the spurge does not bloom, but is valued for the decorativeness of the above-ground part. Triangular stems, covered with small thorns and oval leaves, look very exotic. Euphorbia grows very quickly and retains an attractive appearance for many years. If on the stems there are accumulations of dust, then it is removed with a soft brush. A warm shower is carried out by covering the soil in the pot with a plastic bag. Care of the plant is not difficult, you just need to ensure sufficient lighting and adjust the watering regime. When there is a lack of lighting, the stems of the plant are strongly stretched. If the irrigation regime is incorrect, if there is a lack or excess of moisture, stains may appear on the stems. After elimination of negative factors, the spurge is quickly restored.

Euphorbia is a very unpretentious plant, it does not require careful care and attention. The undoubted advantage of the milkweed triangular is its high resistance to pests and diseases. The plant enjoys wide popularity among phyto-designers, landscapers and flower growers, as the spurge looks beautiful and feels itself in office and residential interiors. When working with milk, it should be remembered that the stalk cuts off the milky juice, which can cause burns if it gets on the mucous membranes. During care, basic precautions should be followed.
