He questions and mocks all that has been established in society as worthy of respect and reverence. Nihilism determines the behavior and attitude of Bazarov to others. The main thing that should be paid attention is the conflict between Bazarov and Pavel Petrovich Kirsanov, as well as Bazarov's relations with Anna Odintsova, Arkady Kirsanov and her parents.

For the older generation, nature is a place where you can relax with your body and soul, feel harmony and pacification within yourself, you need to appreciate it, it is worthy of paintings by artists. For nihilists, nature is "not a temple, but a workshop." Most of all, such as Bazarov, appreciate science, in particular, the achievements of German materialists.

Bazarov and Arkady Kirsanov

Bazarov's attitude to those around him characterizes him as a person of good nature. Undoubtedly, he does not spare those people to whom he feels antipathy. Therefore, it may even seem that he is too arrogant and arrogant. But he always treated Arkady with warmth. Bazarov saw that he would never become a nihilist. After all, they are too different with Arkady. Kirsanov, the youngest, wants to have a family, peace, home comfort ... He admires Bazarov's mind, the strength of his character, but he himself will never be like that. Bazarov does not behave very nobly when Arkady visits his parents' house. He offends Pavel Petrovich and Nikolai Petrovich, calling them pompous aristocrats. This behavior reduces the image of the protagonist.

Bazarov and Anna Odintsova

Anna Odintsova is a heroine, which causes internal conflict in the soul of the main character. This is a very beautiful and intelligent woman, she conquers all with some coldness and majesty. And now Eugene, confident that mutual attachments are impossible between people, falls in love. He was able to conquer a "woman", as Odintsov first calls himself Bazarov. His looks crumble to smithereens. However, the heroes are not destined to be together. Bazarov can not recognize the authority of Odintsov over himself. He is in love, he suffers, his declaration of love is more like an accusation: "You have achieved your goal." In turn, Anna is also not ready to give up her calmness, she is ready to give up love, just not to worry. Bazarov's life can not be called happy, because at first he was convinced that there was no love, and then, when he really loved, relations did not work out.

Relations with parents

Bazarov's parents are very kind and sincere people. They do not worship the soul in their talented son. Bazarov, whose views do not allow tenderness, is too cold to them. The father tries to be unobtrusive, hesitates to pour out his feelings with his son, in every possible way soothes his wife, telling her that she bothers her son with excessive care and concern. Fearing that Evgeny would leave their house again, they try to please him in every possible way.

Relation to pseudo nihilists

There are two characters in the novel, Bazarov's attitude to which is contemptuous. These are pseudo-nihilists of Kukshin and Sitnikov. Bazarov, whose views are supposedly appealing to these heroes, is for them an idol. They themselves are not nothing. They exhibit their nihilistic principles, but do not really adhere to them. These heroes cry out slogans without realizing their meanings. Eugene despises them, in every possible way demonstrates his disdain. In the dialogues with Sitnikov, he is clearly much higher. Bazarov's attitude to the pseudo-nihilists surrounding him raises the image of the protagonist, but reduces the status of the nihilistic movement itself.

So, the way Bazarov treats people, allows you to better understand his image. He is cold in communication, sometimes arrogant, but still he is a kind young man. It can not be said that Bazarov's attitude towards others is bad. Defining them are the hero's views on the life and interaction of people. Of course, the most important thing about his dignity is honesty and intelligence.
