Educational toys for children with their own hands. Manufacture of toys

Despite the fact that the counters of modern children's shops literally sag from all kinds of fun for kids, parents are increasingly asking themselves how to make educational toys for children with their own hands. After all, I want the child to form an understanding of the properties and characteristics of the surrounding materials, objects and phenomena. And who better to know how not to parents, what exactly in what period of life does their baby interest them. So why not make a toy that will be of interest to your child? Moreover, such an option is usually cheaper, and for a little child it is safer, since you know all its components.

The role of developing toys in the life of a child

It is probably impossible to exaggerate the role of developing toys in the life of a child. After all, it is thanks to them that a small person gets to know the world around him. Toys contribute to the formation of auditory and visual systems, the development of fine motor skills, attention. And if, up to 6 months, the crumb only reacts to bright objects with a glance and hearing to new sounds, then after six months the child needs to touch various objects, hold them in their hands, scrutinize and sometimes chew, and all of this must be ready for his hand toys .

However, parents need to keep in mind that the smaller their child, the more attention must be paid to the safety of those things that fall into his hands (and sometimes into his mouth). And it is best to make educational toys for children with their own hands, using natural fabrics, yarn, sewing thread, wood, cardboard, paper and other materials safe for the child. At the same time, care must be taken to ensure that the materials have different colors, textures, density, etc. This will promote the active development of tactile sensations in the child.

Board with "forbidden" elements

All those who have their own children or those who are familiar with the kids know that the child, as soon as he begins to move independently around the house, seeks to know the things around him, and otherwise can not be. But, unfortunately, in each housing there are such items, contact with which can harm the child. In addition, many things can be spoiled if they are misused. But everyone knows that the forbidden fruit is sweet, and the more parents forbid the child to contact with a certain object, the more he strives for it, while any surprise toy takes his attention for a maximum of 20 minutes. So why not please the baby by building a special stand for him?

To make such a "toy" you will need a board, as well as various items that you do not allow the child to use in everyday life. These are latches, locks, sockets, latches, Velcro, laces, various switches and much more. All this is necessary to attach to the board, and hang it on the wall at an altitude that corresponds to the growth of the child.

A book of cloth with your own hands

Every parent dreams that his child was successful and smart, but here there is no way to do without a book, and it is possible to accustom a baby to her at a very early age. True, for this you need not an ordinary book, although with the participation of an adult it can be approached and she. But it is better, nevertheless, that among the items for the child's entertainment there are not only soft toys made of cloth, but also books of the same material. Moreover, its manufacture by oneself is an occupation that any adult can do.

Undoubtedly, the purpose of this book is not reading, but rather acquaintance with the world around, so show imagination. As the pages you need to use a fabric of different colors with bright patterns. At each sew an interesting flower, animal or object, carved from the fabric of another texture, the felt is ideal. You can, for example, sew a shoe with real lacing, so that the child can lace it on its own. An interesting page can be a sewn flower of 5 large petals, which with the help of an elastic band are pulled together into the bud. In the middle, you can "plant" the moth already from another tissue or cardboard. Try to create a book with the elements to which your child is most interested.

Sewn "tablet"

If you do not have so much time to make educational toys for children with your own hands, but still want to please your kid with something unusual, then the lacing plate is an excellent option for this. Its production does not take much time, materials can even be found at hand, and for the development of fine motor skills of the child this toy will become simply irreplaceable.

You will need a sheet of plastic or plywood in the size of about A4. At a distance of 1.5-2 cm from each other holes are drilled, with a diameter of 5 mm. In addition to the tablet itself, you will need more shoelaces of different colors, and the more, the better. They will act as the main tool for realization of the child's creative intent.

Self-made puzzles

All parents know about the existence of puzzles, but many of them do not even realize that these educational toys for children are not difficult to make by themselves. In addition, they will not look like the ones that are sold in stores in huge quantities. The easiest way to make puzzles at home is to cut the card into parts. Their number should depend on how large you want to get the items. For very young children in the same way you can make puzzles of painted cloth.

Interesting are puzzles of ice cream sticks. It is necessary to find a suitable picture, cut it out, take the sticks and fold them one near the other in such a way that the whole area of the image is covered. Then use a sticky tape to attach the sticks together, and paste a picture on top. When the glue dries, it is necessary to release the sticks from the scotch, and cut the picture in their places of contact. As a result, you get a lot of sticks with pieces of the picture, from which the child will need to fold the whole picture.

Puzzles of felt

It is worth noting that to add, adhering to certain rules of consistency, you can not only picture of the parts, but also, for example, the sun, rainbow and many other elements. So, for making puzzles in the form of a rainbow, you need a felt of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, blue and purple.

From felt it is necessary to cut out parts of a rainbow - semicircles with a small notch in the bottom part. In this case, the red arc should be the largest, and each subsequent slightly decrease in size, the last - the purple will be the smallest. Such a toy will allow the child to become better acquainted with such a phenomenon as a rainbow, and remember the sequence of its colors.

Continuing the theme of familiarity with natural phenomena, it would be appropriate to make toys in the form of other elements, sun, for example. To do this, you need to cut out a large circle from the yellow felt and a lot of thin strips - rays. You can also cut out rain droplets, clouds, flowers, butterflies, bugs, trees, leaves and many other elements that allow the child to add whole pictures.

Homemade Flying Toys

After the child has already "restrained" in the hands of various objects, "seen enough" of their bright colors, had time to chew and tear them, he begins to actively move and again look for something new for himself. And here very opportunely there are cars, balls and other things for mobile games, but at this stage it is possible to make certain objects, which you can please the little girl. First of all, these are all kinds of flying toys.

The simplest piece of artwork from this category is a paper helicopter. To make it, you need paper (preferably dense) and a paper clip. From paper, cut a strip about 48 mm wide and 140 in length. Depart 70 mm from the bottom on both sides to make indentations of 16 mm and cut a corner height of 10 mm. Then fold the lower part three times and fasten it with a paper clip, and the upper part - cut in two and bend in opposite directions - these will be the blades of the screw. Flying toys of this type will be able to take a child and even a whole company for a long time if you make several helicopters, because then children will be able not only to admire how their toys spin in the air, but also to organize competitions among themselves.

"Pyramid" made of cloth

Pyramids are one of the most interesting types of toys for children , but they do not necessarily have to be bought, but can be successfully made at home. Moreover, pyramids made by themselves can be very original and diverse, which, no doubt, will please the child. You can, for example, sew a triangular pyramid of fabric. To do this, you need a fabric (preferably several colors), a filler (sintepon, foam rubber, etc.), a needle and thread, scissors and Velcro. First, you need to cut out triangles from the fabric - two of the same size. In this case, it is necessary to calculate so that each subsequent triangle is slightly smaller than the previous one.

From the cut pieces you should sew the pads, filling them with sintepon or any other material. The more such pads, the better. At the final stage to each triangle on both sides in the center, it is necessary to sew a velcro to make it easier to build a pyramid from these pads. Similarly, you can make such toys from any form of fabric - round, hexagonal, square, etc.

"Tissue" animals

Every child likes soft toys, but if they also produce by themselves, then his delight will not be the limit. After all, at home, except that you can make funny toys, they can also be filled with unusual materials that will also be of interest to the baby.

Immediately it is worth noting that there is no need to pay too much attention to the pattern, it is enough that it reminds at least a little of the animal that you are going to make. That is, carving out a fur seal, it is enough to carve a head with sharp ears, two paws at the bottom and two at the sides. Similarly, you can cut out the figure of the bear, except that the ears are more round, and the whole body and paws are more complete. When two pieces of the figure are stitched and the time comes to fill them, then it is better to use not only soft material, but also some "unusual" one. For example, pour in buckwheat, rice, peas or any other cereal. You can also fill a small plastic bead with small beads and place it inside the toy. Any small objects will do, the main task is to interest the child with their unusual form or sound.
