Sakura from beads

One of the most versatile materials for fans of all kinds of hand-made articles, made with their own hands, is the beads. Products from it have received application practically in all areas of a life of the modern person. This can be as simple decorations, and solid souvenirs. For example, cherry blossom bead will be a highlight in the interior, complementing it with such fashionable today's eastern intonations. The technique of making beadwork is quite simple and is available for mastering any person, and the required materials and tools will be affordable for everyone.

By the principle of weaving sakura from beads practically does not differ from other models of trees. To produce it you will need:

  • 65 grams of beads (25 grams of pink shades and 15 grams of green);
  • Copper wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm;
  • A cherry-pot;
  • Gouache brown and black;
  • Long skewers, preferably wooden;
  • Clay, alabaster, toothpick;
  • Pebbles and other elements for decoration.

Like any other tree, cherry sakura has twigs. They are performed first. It's no secret that this preparatory stage is very long and monotonous, but without it you can not do without it. First of all, it is necessary to mix well both shades of pink beads. Then you can begin to weave branches. To do this, on the middle of the wire, about 50 cm long, 7 beads need to be strung, then twisted several times, so that a centimeter spiral is obtained. In this way the loop is obtained. Then you need to perform four similar loops: first two on the ends of the wire, then you need to twist once and execute two more. At the very end, instead of four loops, two are executed. Thus, the scheme of one branch looks like 1-4-4-4-2. To make cherry sakura look as natural as possible, for some loops it is necessary to take green beads. For a beautiful result, you need about 90 similar branches.

The second stage consists of the collection of prepared elements. From the previously obtained branches with the help of a wire, gradually wrapping it around and adding new ones in the process of advancement, large branches gather. Then they must be attached to the trunk. Here you will need skewers, the number of which varies depending on the thickness of the trunk. They need to be folded together and wrapped in a little wire so that they do not disintegrate. Then the most magnificent branch is inserted between the skewers and fixed with wire. By this method, gradually moving downwards, the remaining branches are established, after which the whole trunk should be treated with clay. The ends of the skewers at the very bottom are best left untouched, as they will participate in planting the cherry blossoms into a pot. For a more realistic toothpick, a picture is imitated that simulates the appearance of the bark.

The next step is to install the tree in the pot. To do this, it is necessary to dilute the alabaster in it, so that the density is approximately the same as that of fatty sour cream. Further, the sakura collected is lowered into the pot by the projecting ends of the skewers and is left in this form until the base solidifies. After a while, making sure that the material is completely frozen, you can start painting the trunk. Flowering sakura from beads is almost ready.

The final stage of the work is the design of the place under the tree. Specialized decorative details should be put space under the cherry tree crown, imitating grass, moss or other natural elements. You can also supplement the composition with various symbols, bringing prosperity, coziness and luck. Such hand-made, made by themselves, will serve as an excellent gift to relatives on any solemn date as an energy souvenir.
