Fishing on the ring from the boat requires a cumbersome outfit. First of all, of course, there must be a boat. Feeding trough
The fisherman must take with him something as a bait when the catch is carried on the ring. Fishing is especially popular with porridge. For its preparation, which are dealt with in advance, there are many different recipes. In a weak current, a normal nylon mesh bag made from onion or other vegetables can act as a feeder. Inside you need to put something heavy. This can be an ordinary stone weighing 1-3 kg. Above the bag is a long loop, from which the cord will go to the boat. If the current of the river is more rapid and strong, then the fishing trough for fishing on the ring should be chosen different. In this case, you can use a transparent plastic jar. Depending on the strength of the current, small holes are made with a hot nail or larger ones with a soldering iron. As a cargo, it is most convenient to use a lead "dummy", attached to the outside of the can with a bolt and two washers. To fix the feeder, it is best to use a fishing line with a diameter of 0.8-1 mm. It does not sail, unlike the usual rope or cord, and it can be installed strictly vertically from the boat to the bottom of the pond.
What is a fishing ring?

When all preparations have been completed, the ring falls into the water and lies directly on the feeder, and the line with the hooks drops downstream. As a result, the fish will not have to wait long. It can often be noticed that it immediately catches on the hook as soon as the ring has sunk into the water. On fishing, this method is considered very prey, but it's hardly possible to call it sporty.
