Doha is the largest city and capital of Qatar
The capital of Qatar - Doha or, as it is called by the locals, Ad-Doura, is located on the stony eastern coast of the Qatar Peninsula. The State of Qatar is an Arab country with a rich history and a cherished Islamic tradition.
Located in a hot climate, where the air temperature reaches +50 degrees Celsius, the capital of Qatar - Doha - is located in a picturesque corner of the Persian Gulf. It was founded not so long ago - in 1897. Old neighborhoods in the usual Arabic style still attracts history buffs. They border on new super-modern buildings that fascinate with their beauty, play with mirrored windows, glow in the dark with multicolored lights.
But still the sights of the "old city" are captured by their mystery and unusual. The capital of Qatar was founded by the first emir of Al-Thani, who chose an attractive place for her, close to the beach and an eight-kilometer seaside esplanade surrounding the capital.
Doha is the business center of Qatar
The tourist business in the country is developing at an accelerated pace, which reduces the risk of ruin of the state in the event of an end to the extraction of oil and pearls. The country has not earned money for pearl fishermen for a long time, and natural resources can end. Therefore, Qatar, the capital of Doha, including all means of oil extraction, invests in itself, in the development and construction of hotels, expensive villas, in the construction of cultural and business centers. Today, Doha is one of the fastest growing cities in the world.
