Key concepts that affect the bones of the wrist and pain sensations in this area

The brush is the most mobile part of the hand, which opens a huge field for the person to work. With the help of brushes, we can perform both rough work that requires the use of force, and a thin, high-precision, with the smallest fragile details. And, first of all, the wrists of the wrist are responsible for this.

Brush hands - what kind of body?

Answer: tactile. A lot of sensitive cells and muscles make it possible to recognize the type of an object by the touch and determine its characteristics, to perform various movements related to the support, and also such movements as lifting, turning and lowering.

Anatomy: bones of the wrist

Bones of the hand are divided into five groups, which can be clearly seen in the figure.

At the very bottom of the brush is a group of eight bones forming its skeleton (Carpals). This includes the following bones:

  • Head;
  • Trapezoidal;
  • Trihedral;
  • Navicular;
  • Hook-shaped;
  • Semilunar;
  • Pea-like;
  • Bone-trapezium.

Of these, the four (3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th) are the proximal series. They are adjacent to the bones of the forearm. The remaining four, except for the pea bones, constitute a distal row that faces the pastern. The interosseous ligaments firmly unite the bones of the wrist. Their anatomy is such that they, due to such a connection, fit tightly to each other and, in fact, form a single surface.

Next, the wrist bones turn into spotted (Metacarpals). This is a bridge between the base of the brush and its phalanges. They are arched to the back of the palm, have a tubular structure. Traditionally, they are divided into three sections: the base, the body and the head.

The next three groups are the bones that together form the fingers of the hand: this is the proximal, middle and distal phalanges.

Functions that perform bones of the wrist department

The wrist bones, represented in the form of small formations, allow manipulating the angle of the palm flexion with respect to the forearm. With a brush, we can grab and release objects, bring them closer and move them away from the body. Having arched the brush at an angle of ninety degrees, you can use it as a support when standing on your hands, which is common in sports activities or in dances. All these manipulations occur extremely quickly and in a coordinated manner, and the entire system, which is made up of the bones of the wrist and hand, is easy and simple.

Pain in the hand

Many people experience pain in the upper arm. It happens that the wrists bark. Anatomy makes it clear that the person's hands are constantly in working order, and therefore they are under heavy loads. Of course, this directly depends on the nature of the activity: the heavyweight athlete burdens his hands more than the secretary, but the hands of the professional athlete are able to withstand more than the beginner's hands. In this case, the same load for the first one will be permissible, and for the second one it can lead to injuries or pain. It is not easy to diagnose unambiguously what kind of disease caused the carpal bones to hurt. The cause may be a dislocation, sprain, even a fracture or a fracture of the bone. Also, such pain can be a "bell", warning of gout, arthritis or osteoarthritis. Noticing the pain of this kind, you should seek help from an orthopedist and / or neurologist, before thoroughly considering how much strain you were subjected to before discomfort appeared. Perhaps you decided to do a reshuffle in the house and, not sparing yourself, moved the sofa, wardrobe, chest of drawers, etc.? Or maybe you constantly work at a computer and your mouse is not very convenient. Variants can be mass.

As without them, then?

Human brushes are the organ without which it becomes difficult to eat, to fulfill physiological needs, to work (practically in any sphere), etc. People who for various reasons were left without this body, learn to live anew. Many people use the fingers to stop, even draw pictures, what can we say about bringing a spoon to your mouth. But this is much harder than using brushes, which, under the strict guidance of the brain, can do incredible things. But people live, and sometimes more valuable than others, and find in this life a lot of joy, which healthy people are unable to. And this they should learn and appreciate what Mother Nature gave us from birth.
