Deris Andy, German musician, singer, vocalist of the group "Halloween"

German rock singer, singer and musician Deris Andy (photo presented on the page) was born on August 18, 1964 in the city of Karlsruhe. Currently, he is the vocalist of the popular "Halloween" group, the author of numerous hits, the owner of the recording studio Mi Sueno, located on the island of Tenerife (Canary).

Teenager and heavy rock

Andy was fond of rock music at the age of fourteen, after he heard the British band Sweet. The young man was drawn to heavy rock, and he decided to learn how to play the guitar.

In 1979, the legendary KISS arrived in Karlsruhe with a one-day visit, and Andy visited her concert. Impressions lasted a whole year. And in early 1980, Deris Andy organized his own group called "Paranoid." In the process of becoming a sixteen-year-old musician, he realized that a good guitar player would not come out of it, and then he turned all attention to vocal training.

The drummer was able to be found immediately, it was Ralph Mason. Then Deris Andy met Koffler Alfred, who played the guitar in the group "Dragon". After listening to Andy, the musicians of "Dragon" offered him to go with them on a road trip, which lasted a lot, but a whole year.

Concert activity and its consequences

Concert activity, on the one hand, was useful for Deris, but it ended with a deduction from the university. Andy dropped out of school. However, he was not too upset and created the "Pink cream 69" group, named after the popular cocktail. The musicians got quite good, and soon "Cream" won the competition, organized by the magazine "Iron Hammer".

After such success, the group began to receive offers from record companies. The musicians chose Sony Music, and in 1989 the presentation of the first album took place. Deris Andy became a famous musician in Pink Cream 69, although he wanted to play with his friend Michael Vaikat in the "Halloween" for a long time, where he directed all the activities of the popular sextet.

Change of priorities

Eventually, Deris Andy left the "Pink Cream" and joined the Waikata group. I must say that the musical level of Deris allowed him to immediately take the leading position in "Halloween", he began to write good compositions, made quite professional arrangements and generally led all the work that is necessary for the group's activities. Weikath, who could now breathe peacefully, helped Andy as much as possible.

The first album of the band with vocalist Deris, entitled "The Lord of the Rings" became the beginning of the next stage in the work of "Halloween". And the second disc, which Andy called "The Time of the Oath," was the most successful in the history of the group.

Solo albums

In "Halloween" Andy Deris became the sole songwriter, but he still had a lot of compositions that did not fit the format group. The material had to be put somewhere, and Andy decided to release his solo album with these songs. He consulted with the musicians, and they decided that another disc will only expand the repertoire and raise the reputation of "Halloween."

In March 1997 the album was released. True, the singles sounded great like the songs from "The Pink Cream" when Deris was there, but overall the disc turned out to be quite good and sold well. Two years later, Andy released another solo album.

Personal life

Andy Deris is a wonderful family man, he married once and is happy with his chosen one. Spouse Lydia brings up a common favorite of Ron, born in 1993. Andy writes his guitar and vocal works exclusively at home, where everything inspires him, from the lawn in front of the house to the attic space, gloomy and moist.

In 1994, Deris with his whole family left Germany and moved to one of the Canary Islands, Tenerife. Bought on the archipelago, Andy's house was converted into a sound recording firm, he brought in good equipment and started to work. True, recording only their works, in Tenerife from Europe to get is not so simple, so the clientele in Deris is still very modest.

Andy Deris, whose personal life fully meets the needs of his own and his relatives, is trying to establish his life between the records of his discs, the sandy beach, walks under the moon and other equally pleasant things.
