Gradually the trace leads him to his native land. Ashenu becomes aware of the details of the legend of the mysterious Mary, whose ghost, according to the assurances of local residents, wanders through the streets of the town. Soon the hero learns about the curse that caused the death of his wife.

Some viewers did not place high hopes on the painting "Dead silence". Actors who appeared in this story, at that time, loud roles did not differ, and timing in an hour and a half of confidence did not inspire. Nevertheless, it was impossible not to pay attention to the name of the director of the film - it was James Van, the author of the cult franchise "Saw". By the way, he put his hand not only to the production of the tape, but also to its script.
