Dairy-free porridge

Nutrition of the child, especially in the first months of life, must be subject to the rules and restrictions, without which it is impossible to form a healthy and strong organism.

Strict regulation of the diet concerns not only the amount of food consumed, but also its variety. In this part, the conversation will be about the rules for including dairy and dairy-free cereals in the diet.

I would like to note that it is better to start feeding with porridges closer to the six-month age of the baby. This is the period when he already knows what a vegetable and fruit puree is, so dairy-free cereals or with the addition of milk will not become a load for the baby. The first of its cereals should be rice, as it is easily digested and does not cause allergic reactions of the body. Then every seven days the diet can be diversified, introducing new types of cereals: buckwheat, oats and others. To improve their taste, at this age it is already allowed to add butter or vegetable oil, and also it is possible to prepare with the addition of milk. Begin feeding porridges better with small portions, gradually increasing them. So, by the end of six months, its number should reach up to one hundred and fifty grams.

With the growth of the child, his menu also changes, so the dairy-free cereals are gradually supplemented with new food products.
