Combined boiler - design, pros and cons
Heating - this is one of the main aspects of comfortable living in the house. And if the installation of independent heating in the apartment sometimes entails nemerenye costs (oddly enough, but most of the amount goes to the design of all kinds of securities and permits), then in a private house you can use absolutely any boiler. In this case, the entire heating system can be laid as desired. However, which cauldron to choose? Many prefer gas appliances, arguing that they are the most efficient and productive. With this statement we will not argue, however, if in your country house there are frequent interruptions with the supply of gas, in such cases you just need to install a combined boiler. What is this wonder device and what is it, read in our article.
Differences from gas
Combined heating boilers look almost the same as conventional gas heat generators, but their main difference is not in design, but in that they can work smoothly in the event of a gas shutdown. In this case, these devices switch to another source of energy. Often this is coal or wood (in some cases - oil products). In this case, the operation of such devices will be as productive as in the case of standard gas absorption. How is this possible? Combined heating boilers + firewood + gas can work without losing their power, because they have their own design features. Universal heaters in their construction Have special tubular electric heaters (TEN) of high power, as well as a combustion chamber for solid fuel and several burners for gas or liquid fuel. In some cases, such devices are equipped with pellet burners. Thus, coal or wood will burn in the chamber without preliminary ignition. At the same time, the combined boiler has a high efficiency, but compared to conventional gas analogs, it is still 15-20 percent weaker.
Types
At the moment, there are several types of similar devices:
- With one burner;
- With two burners.
The latest devices do not work on two, but even on three sources of energy. Due to its design, the combined boiler can be used for both gas and liquid or solid fuels.
Benefits
Main plus
disadvantages
The main disadvantage of this boiler is its cost, which is much higher than the price of conventional devices operating on a single energy source. That's why experts recommend buying it only when you really have problems and interruptions with the supply of gas.
Conclusion
Now it is clear that a combined boiler is a device that should be installed only when there is often no normal gas supply in the house. Therefore, to acquire it in order to be reinsured, it is simply inexpedient both in terms of efficiency and in terms of value.
