Christmas tree of beads. Festive traditions in a new incarnation

A traditional Christmas tree, without it, the festive decoration of the house and the New Year mood are inconceivable. For three centuries this symbol of Christmas and New Year decorates our houses in an unchanged form, with bright colored toys, a six-pointed star on the top, and colored, "mischievous" lights running across its branches.

But life does not stand still, modern views, fashion trends in art and design break traditions and stereotypes, creating unusual modern forms of such familiar and familiar things from childhood. So the New Year tree in the hands of designers, using a variety of methods, materials and artistic techniques for the embodiment, sometimes gets the most bizarre forms. Firs of feathers, glass and metal, from various natural materials (cones, moss and hay), from textiles, paper and plastic, in their traditional form or abstract, barely outlined by familiar contours, now decorate houses on New Year's Eve.

To become an artist and designer and create a symbolic image of a New Year tree for decorating an interior or for a gift, using different artistic techniques and materials, everyone can. One of these techniques is the beadwork of three-dimensional objects - art based on ancient traditions. A small Christmas tree of beads decorates the festive table, it can be made the center of the original festive composition. A fir-tree made of beads, in the form of a traditional tree, or an abstract New Year symbol will be a good gift to friends.

Christmas tree of beads can be very different. Its color, size and shape will entirely depend on the imagination of the artist. But in any case, for work, many different sizes of beads of green, white, gold color and wire of different thicknesses will be required.

Christmas tree of beads

To realize the traditional herringbone, you need green beads of several shades, thick wire for the trunk and thin for twigs, a brown thread, stand and gypsum mixture.

1. Let's start with making the top. Take a fairly long end of a thin wire, string 10 green beads onto it, distribute them in the center, bend the wire and twist the loop from the beads. At each end of this central loop, in the same way, we make three loops of 10 beads in the same way. It turns a branch of 7 loops, with one central. There should be four such twigs. We use beads of different shades, in the center lighter, to the edges darker. So the Christmas tree will be more realistic.

2. Now we tie each twig with a brown thread to the wire for the carcass consistently from four sides. All eyelets are lifted upwards. The tetrahedral top of the Christmas tree has turned out.

3. The remaining branches of the tree are made the same tetrahedral, collecting them from separate branches, consisting of beaded loops. On each successive row, the number of loops is increased so that the ready twigs are longer, and the tree expands to the base of the trunk, taking a conical shape. Each row of twigs is screwed to the frame as they are made. It will be seen how many rows of branches still need to be made. Each row of branches is understood upward.

4. Set the Christmas tree in the stand and fill it with gypsum solution. You can decorate the base with sequins, moss or cotton wool.

A fir-tree made of beads can be made by hand in a different way. For example, in the form of an amazing lamp decorating a festive interior. For work you will need: one or more cones made of transparent plastic of different sizes, white or gold bugles or large beads, Christmas tree garland, PVA glue. The cone is covered with glue and abundantly sprinkled with beads and glass beads. To white and gold, you can add a little colorful. On a large tray or dish we lay out a garland, on the lamps from above we set the cone-trees, we decorate the tray with spruce branches and balls. A fabulous Christmas composition is ready.

A Christmas tree made of beads can become a substitute for a traditional New Year tree, or be a very beautiful addition to it, decorating a mantelpiece, sitting on a low bedside table or table.
