Whatever it was, but for a long time this kind of art was available only to the nobility and was used in religious rites. Gradually, the art of origami became available to all and spread throughout the world.
In the classic origami figures are made up of square sheets of paper without the aid of glue and scissors. Now this tradition is sometimes broken. Especially great role in the development of this art was played by Japan, where origami was at first part of the ceremonies. For origami there is a special colored paper. But even from the most ordinary paper sheet you can make several different kinds of frogs. Some of them jump, others just open their mouths, while others can be very similar to the real ones. Now we will tell you how to make a frog that can jump.
For work we will need a regular sheet of A4 thin paper. Before making a frog from paper, the sheet must be cut so that a square is obtained. A square sheet of paper is folded diagonally so that the opposite corners are aligned. Then the sheet needs to be unbent and bent it again, combining the other opposite corners. Now you need to unbend the sheet of paper and fold it in half to make a rectangle. The upper corners of the rectangle are folded inward along the diagonal folds.
A triangle with two short edges and one long triangle was obtained. Short sides need to be bent to the center towards each other, and then bend them to the edges of the triangles formed - these are the future legs of your frog. When you understand yourself how to make a frog out of paper, you can teach your child that. We continue to make a frog. After you have bent the short sides from the center to the edges, the frog needs to flip and bend the lower corners to the apex of the triangle. Thus, in the upper part, we have a square consisting of two triangles. It is necessary to take the inner faces and turn them to the center.
At the top left are two corners, from which the eyes are made. You need to bend these corners in half, and then bend it up. Later, when the frog is ready, eyes are drawn on these small triangles. And now the frog needs to be turned over on a back and bend in half, first from itself, and then once again half-and-half, but already to itself. All! Now the frog can be painted green, and to force it to jump, you just need to lightly press a lightly sliding motion onto the fold formed on the back. To the frog jumped better and farther, you do not need to make it big. Very jumping frogs are obtained from a sheet of paper.
When you learn how to make a jumping frog, you can make a frog croaking, for a puppet theater. Having made a couple of these frogs, you can play a small home play. Jumping and croaking frogs only remotely resemble real ones, and frogs, similar to living ones, are much more difficult to make. But gradually, from simple figures it will be possible to proceed to the manufacture of more complex ones.
