Choose an air conditioner and do not make a mistake

Air conditioning became a very popular device in a number of regions of Russia, notorious in the summer of 2010, when in some regions high temperatures and forests were burning. In Moscow, their purchase and installation then formed queues, so perhaps it makes sense to buy this useful unit. And how to choose it - we will tell.

If there was a need to choose an air conditioner, then you need to start with the parameters of the room, which it will serve. It's one thing if it's a small room, and completely different - if you need a device for a restaurant, a large hall or industrial premises. It is also important that you have permission to carry out installation work on the facade of the building and in the interior, because without it the range of models that can be installed is significantly narrowed.

In the absence of restrictions on the installation (they may be present, for example, because the building belongs to the monuments of architecture), you can choose the air conditioning from an extensive line of split systems that have two units - external and internal. When choosing a model, it is necessary to proceed from the fact that 1 kW of air-conditioning capacity in cooling mode will well serve 10 square meters. Meters of the area with the ceiling height in the room up to three meters. And for heating a room of up to 25 square meters. Meters suitable appliances with a capacity of 1.7-2.4 kW.

Note that not every air conditioner can work for heating at a negative external temperature, so you need to roughly represent the temperature regime in your region and buy suitable all-season models (they are usually more expensive).

For those who choose equipment for large spaces, the question of which air conditioner to choose is not only due to the required capacity, but also with the appropriate configuration, because not always the whole facade of the building can be hung in rows of split systems. In this case, the help comes cassette and channel air conditioners, which represent one external unit, connected by air ducts or communications with several indoor units. Such systems are mounted under the ceiling and closed with special grilles and panels, they are quite expensive and are performed only with the help of professionals, often even during the construction phase of the building.

The remaining characteristics of the proposed devices are very diverse, so you can choose an air conditioner for every taste. For example, almost all models are equipped with remote control, some have deodorizing filters, in others - additional purification filters, plasma filters and anion generators. Some devices work with dehumidification of air, many organize forced ventilation. Each model is characterized by a certain level of noise, that or other used refrigerant in it, the minimum and maximum maintained temperature. Advanced samples have a built-in motion sensor that allows the air conditioner to turn on only when there are people in the room.

For numerous tenants of residential and commercial premises, manufacturers offer mobile air conditioners, many models of which do not require additional installation and can easily be transported from one building to another when moving. If you do not know how to choose a mobile air conditioner, we recommend starting by looking for a hole in the window (wall) where a flexible hose for the output of heated air will be supplied, because this is the only thing that is required for the operation of the mobile air conditioner. Further it makes sense to pay attention to the dimensions of the device, its maximum noise level (it can be higher than the split-system). In other respects, the mobile air conditioner has the same list of different characteristics as stationary systems, and it is possible to choose the air conditioning of a particular configuration depending on individual preferences.
