Its height sometimes reaches 1.5 meters, so the stems must be tied all the time, so that they do not break under the weight of their own weight and do not spread along the ground. This will greatly facilitate the cultivation and harvesting. Nevertheless, the conditions for the care of cherry tomatoes are similar to the maintenance of conventional large-fruited tomatoes. They prefer soils with normal acidity, in which there is no stagnation of water. Cherry must be watered daily to get a rich harvest, and therefore water should pass easily and freely through the soil layers. These little tomatoes perfectly rise and grow well, have increased resistance to stress and sudden changes in temperature conditions. They are direct relatives of wild varieties of tomatoes. It should be remembered that the roots of the cherry are quite deep, so when feeding it is important to achieve the most profound penetration of fertilizers into the soil. It is also desirable to mulch the soil so that the leaves and fruits of the cherry are not in contact with it.
