Characteristics of Lisa from the story "Poor Lisa." Psychological analysis of the characters of the main characters in the composition of NM. Karamzin

N.M. Karamzin wrote an extremely touching and dramatic story about a simple and yet eternal situation: she loves, and he does not. But before answering the question about what is characteristic of Lisa from the story "Poor Lisa," you need, at least, at least a little refresh the memory of the plot of the work.

Plot

Liza is an orphan. Left without a father, she is forced to go to work: to sell flowers in the city. The girl is very young and naive. In one of her "working days" Lisa saw in the city a young man (Erast), who bought flowers from her, paying 20 times more than they cost. Erastus said at the same time that these hands should collect flowers only for him. True, the next day he did not show up. Lisa was upset (like all young girls, she was very sorry for the compliments). But the next day Erast himself visited Liza at her house and even talked with her mother. The old man seemed very pleasant and polite to the old mother.

So all and continued for a while. Erast reveled in virginity and integrity of Lisa, and she (a peasant girl of the 19th century) was simply stunned by the courtship of a young handsome nobleman.

A turning point in the relationship came when Lisa said about her possible soon marriage. She was upset and depressed, but Eraste calmed her down and painted her future and said that the sky above them would be in diamonds.

Lisa was a little cheerful - she believed Erast and, on a wave of relief, gave him her innocence. As you might expect, the nature of the meetings has changed. Now Erast again and again seized the girl, already without a twinge of conscience using it for their own needs. Then Lisa, and the relationship with her Erastu bored, and he decided to escape from all this tyagomotina in the army, where he did not serve the Fatherland, and quickly squandered his fortune.

Returning from the army, Erast, of course, did not say a word to Lisa about it, she herself saw him on the street in the carriage herself. She rushed to him, but after a not very pleasant conversation, which happened between them, the former lover put Lisa out of the door, stuck the money.

Liza got so upset and drowned in the pond. The old mother followed her into the other world: as soon as she found out about the death of her daughter, she was immediately hit, and she died.

Now we are ready to answer the question about what is the characteristic of Lisa from the story "Poor Lisa".

The character of Lisa

Lisa was actually a child, despite the fact that she had to go to work early, since her father died. But she did not have time to learn life properly. The inexperience of the girl attracted a young superficial nobleman who sees the goal of his life in enjoyment. In this row there is also poor Lisa with her admiration. Erast was very flattered by the attitude of such a young and such a fresh girl, and she was naive to the extreme. Accepted the attitude of the young rake at face value, and it was all a game of boredom in fact. How to know, maybe even Lisa secretly hoped for the position of the lady in the course of time. Of its other qualities of character, it is worth noting kindness and spontaneity.

Perhaps we have not described all the faces of the main character's personality, but there seems to be enough information here to make Lisa's description of the story "Poor Liza" understandable and embrace the very essence of her being.

Erastus and its internal contents

The second main character of the story, Erast, is a typical aesthetic and hedonist. He lives only to enjoy. He has a mind. He could have been brilliantly educated, but instead the young master is simply burning his life, and Lisa is for him entertainment. While she was clean and blameless, the girl was interested in Erast, how the newly opened bird view carries the ornithologist, when Liza surrendered to Erast, she became the same as everyone else, which means he was bored, and he, driven by a thirst for pleasure, moved on , Not really thinking about the consequences of his vile behavior.

Although unethical, the behavior of a young person becomes only through the prism of certain moral values. If a person is unprincipled (which was Erast), then he can not even feel the part of the baseness that is contained in his actions.

A man who seeks only pleasures in life is superficial by definition. He is not capable of deep feelings. And, of course, he is an opportunist, which proves the marriage of Erast for the sake of money with an elderly widow.

Confrontation between Lisa and Erast as a struggle between light and shadow, good and evil

At first glance it seems that Lisa and Erast are like day and night or good and evil. Accordingly, the characterization of Lisa from the story "Poor Lisa" and the characterization of Erast is deliberately contrasted with the author of the story, but this is not entirely true.

If Lisa's image is good, then neither the world, nor people need such good. It is simply not viable. Nevertheless, in general, the story "Poor Lisa" is well written (albeit slightly sentimental). The characteristic of Lisa, which can exhaustively define it, is naivety, reaching to stupidity. But this is not her fault, because it is a peasant girl of the 19th century.

Erast is also not evil in its pure form. For evil, the strength of character is needed, but the young nobleman does not have it, to his regret. Erast is just an infantile boy running from responsibility. He is completely empty and empty. His behavior is disgusting, but it is difficult to call evil, and even more so the embodiment of evil. This is all that the story "Poor Lisa" opened to us. The characteristic of Erast is more than exhaustive.
