"Crime and Punishment". Razumihin: Characteristics of the character

Through the image of the character of Dmitry Prokopievich Razumikhin, Dostoevsky expresses his position, which expresses his views and gives a moral assessment of the theory of the murderer-Raskolnikov "blood on conscience". In the novel "Crime and Punishment" Razumihin appears as a person who has not yet been identified, but very attractive.

Raskolnikov, Razumikhin is a kind of comparison of two new trends among the youth of that time. The writer on such examples shows that the ways of development of a life position can very much differ from each other. Someone can become a "slave" of a theory that rejects God (this is the same Raskolnikov), and someone will preserve the moral "soil" and have the ability to distinguish good from evil (this is Razumihin).

The school often writes an essay on the topic: "Razumihin (" Crime and Punishment "): a characteristic." Who he is and what his moral principles are, let's try to figure it out.

The idea of "Crime and Punishment"

The main idea of the novel "Crime and Punishment" Mikhail Fyodorovich Dostoevsky pondered a very long time, even from the time of penal servitude. And he began to work on it with great enthusiasm and spiritual enthusiasm. This work as it summed up his past creative years and absorbed all his ideas and thoughts. But the central themes of those years are also very well revealed in this work. Social problems have received a new philosophical direction in conjunction with the moral drama of the "murderer-theoretician" Rodion Raskolnikov, who is compelled to deliver himself to receive punishment and thereby again join the people. The idea of the protagonist Raskolnikov is to become the master of destiny and get the right of strong and just to punish the disagreeable and thus make the unfortunate happy. This is the whole philosophical intent of Dostoevsky, which included the modern revolutionary moods of 1860.

Razumikhin. "Crime and Punishment". Characteristic

Secondary characters become ideological allies or opponents of the protagonist. In the novel "Crime and Punishment" Razumihin is one of Raskolnikov's closest friends, who, however, does not support his views. After all, the philosophical idea of the "small deeds" of Razumik himself is that young people should work as teachers, lawyers, doctors and agronomists, so that everyone in his place will serve the good. And it needs to help in jurisprudence, economics and education, and also to promote the purchase of land by peasants, to organize insurance, people's loans and improve agricultural implements.

It was in this way that Razumikhin saw how the gulf of social inequality was gradually being overcome . In his opinion, it was this that could distract the public advanced young forces from revolutionary activity and any forced improvement of life.

"Crime and Punishment". Description Razumihina

In general, the whole point of this idea was that all "great deeds" should be left for later, until better times, but now we must start acting in our own place and quietly conduct cultural work. Raskolnikov, however, justified any bloodshed, if someone stood on the way to some noble cause or great discovery, or if someone suffered very badly from some bad person. With this reasoning Dostoevsky filled his novel "Crime and Punishment". Razumikhin plays an important role in it and fully expresses the views of the author himself.

The characteristic of Razumikhin is quite interesting. Dostoevsky introduced us to a type of a kind of dork man, a rough ruffian, a strong nature, but a very noble and magnanimous Russian man who completely submits to Avdotya Romanovna, Raskolnikov's sister. After all, he literally mleth and belittles himself in front of this fragile and elegant beauty.

Pochvennichestvo

At first glance it may seem that Razumikhin is a pragmatist, but this is not so. In his arguments, he nevertheless relies on the theory of "pochvennichestvo", which was a Russian social trend of thought religious and philosophical trend, similar to Slavophilism, opposed to Westernism. It was oriented to the identity of Russia, which distinguished it from Western culture.

He criticizes pre-reform procedures and jurisprudence. People like Luzhin (Dunya's fiancé) are very hateful to him, as everyone calculates and looks for benefits everywhere. He senses from such people cannibal smell, thanks to their beliefs.

Russian hero

Dostoevsky in his novel "Crime and Punishment" Razumihin represents as a Russian hero, "descended to the boy," who spends his mighty forces on the support of Raskolnikov's friend and his close ones - Sister Dunya, mother of Pulcheria Alexandrovna. He helped them even when he learned that Raskolnikov was a murderer.

Razumikhin sees through the human soul of everyone he has ever communicated with. He understands that such a scoundrel as Luzhin is simply hopeless and can not be corrected, but Raskolnikov can still be "reanimated" and returned to the circle of human society.

Love of Dunya

As a faithful friend of Raskolnikov and in love with his sister, Razumihin does everything to help them and make them happy. His dedication in this matter does not interfere with the construction of his personal happiness, which Razumikhin constantly dreams about. "Crime and punishment" definitely hints at the fact that a person can not exist outside society, and the family he created, the chosen profession carry a social seal and talk about compliance with the social and political order or disagreement.

The image of Razumikhin

So Raskolnikov is very competently opposed by Razumikhin. "Crime and Punishment" image of the latter makes one of the important figures in the life of the main character. Dostoevsky describes him as a young man, a student, a nobleman who has a friend at the university - this is Raskolnikov, whom they have known for a year and a half.

Razumikhin is an open, kind, Russian person with a broad soul. He is a great truth-seeker and loves to throw the truth-womb in the face. He has a few coarse manners, but behind this lies a very sensitive and delicate soul. In addition, in the work "Crime and Punishment" Razumihin is presented as an erudite young man who knows three European languages and dreams of creating his own publishing office. It is to him that Raskolnikov comes immediately after the murder, that he helped him find a job in teaching. In fact, he hurries to him to find a living soul for communication, capable of compassion, which can share with him his torment.

True friend

Razumikhin was a very loyal and respectable friend. "Crime and Punishment" describes how he cares for the sick Raskolnikov and even asks Doctor Zosimov to take up his illness, and also introduces him to his relative of distant blood, investigator Porfiry Petrovich. He, knowing that Raskolnikov is beginning to suspect, in every possible way shields him and writes off his strangeness for the disease, and also with great attention to the arrival of Raskolnikov's mother and sister and literally falls in love with Dunya. As a result, he marries her.

To his friend Raskolnikov, Razumikhin treats with warmth and trembling, although he understands that they are different people with him. Very interesting is the fact that Razumihin differs from all by some special truthfulness and incredible directness. His many statements and remarks can be freely used as quotations. And his humor, irony and wit just touch, attract and can not help but charm and not cause feelings of sympathy.
