For many centuries the roof was considered something more than a simple logical completion of the construction of the house. Long since, the "roof over the head" is a symbol of protection and reliability. And, it is after the arrangement of the roof that any building becomes a real house.

Ceramics is one of the most significant human achievements. Once upon a time, a man needed light, reliable and durable utensils. After much research and searching for a suitable material for making dishes, the man chose the clay, which he began to burn on fire. As a result, a reliable and functional material has been obtained - ceramics that can retain its qualities for a long time. Over time, this material was used not only for the manufacture of dishes, but also in construction, for example, for the arrangement of the roof (roof).

Ceramic roof is considered as reliable, quality and durable, as well as dishes made from baked clay. Perhaps, to date, better and more practical roof coverings than natural ceramic tiles have not yet been invented.

Thanks to capillary pores, ceramic tiles seem to breathe, as a result of which there is a microclimate favorable for a person throughout the year.

Ceramic coating will serve as a reliable protection in the heat and in the cold, with rain, snow and strong wind. It is also worth noting that in the process of using this coating, the shape of the ceramic tile has also changed, becoming more attractive, elegant and capable of decorating any building. Ceramic tiles have a number of very important advantages, such as:

· Does not support burning, i.e., does not burn;

· Perfectly withstand low and high temperatures, without destroying the structure;

Has excellent noise and thermal insulation property;

· Does not lend itself to many destructive processes, including corrosion;

· Service life is more than 100 years;

In order for the ceramic roof to last as long as possible, it is necessary to properly mount it. All roofing elements should be placed and fixed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. As a rule, tiles can be purchased with already specified sizes and shapes, which greatly facilitates its fastening on the crate. In most cases, for fixing ceramic tiles use: screws, ledges, crochet wire, which are inserted into special fastening holes.

At the initial (design) stage of mounting the ceramic roof, it is necessary to take into account some features:

• The possibility of laying an additional waterproofing layer on the base;
• Fixing of tile with the help of screws and clamps, with slope of slope more than 50 °.
