"Candybiotic", analogues and their dissolution

"Kandibiotic" is a medical remedy used in ENT practice. In addition to pronounced anti-infective action, it has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect and is among the leaders among drugs that cure ear diseases. A balanced combination of differently directed components is what makes Kandibiotic unique. It is extremely difficult to find an analogue of this remedy, since none of them has such a complex versatile action.

Composition and form of release

The Kandibiotic means includes various components with a specific mechanism of action, such as:

  • Beclomethasone dipropionate - a substance of the glucocorticoid series;
  • Antibiotic chloramphenicol - disrupts protein synthesis in a bacterial cell and leads to its destruction: its broad spectrum of action, including all known pathogens of acute otitis media of the middle and outer ear, is effective against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria ;
  • Clotrimazole is a fungicide that can disrupt the synthesis of one of the major components of the cell membrane of fungi, changing its permeability and leading to lysis (destruction);
  • Lidocaine - anesthetic, blocks the transmission of nerve impulses in the cell, than relieves pain.

In addition, the composition contains auxiliary compounds of glycerol and propylene glycol, enhancing the effectiveness of the main active ingredients. They provide high efficiency of the drug "Candybiotic". An analogue with the same composition does not exist on the pharmacological market.

The drug "Candybiotic" is a liquid of light yellow color. Put in a bottle of dark glass 5 ml in volume, packed in a cardboard box with the attached instruction. Dosage is carried out with a special stopper-pipette, which is also included in the kit. "Candybiotic" is released from pharmacies only if you have a prescription from a doctor. Self-treatment is absolutely unacceptable.

What are the features and benefits of Candybiotics?

The difference between "Candibiotics" and other ENT means is the simultaneous combination of antibacterial, fungicidal and pain-relieving components. This is especially true in case of acute inflammatory processes of the hearing organ, when urgent relief of unpleasant symptoms is needed.

The strongest antimicrobial effect is due to the combination of two components: clotrimazole and chloramphenicol. It is aimed at fighting not only bacteria and microscopic fungi, but also many protozoa. The presence of beclomethasone provides a powerful anti-inflammatory effect, relieves swelling, eliminates allergic manifestations. These properties indicate the versatility of the drug "Kandibiotic" (an analogue with exactly such a composition is not produced), capable of replacing several drugs at once.

Comparison with other drugs

"Candybiotic" is a complex tool. It is a mixture of corticosteroids, antibacterial, fungicidal and anti-allergenic components, which replaces a number of drugs. Preparations-synonyms with such a composition are not produced. An alternative may be the appointment of several drugs of different spectrum of action and performing a specific function. Among them may be:

Ear drops "Dropleks" - combine in its composition fenazol (anti-inflammatory) and lidocaine (anesthetic), mutually reinforcing the effect of each other. With acute otitis, the main task of this remedy is to remove the pain syndrome.

Drops "Thuya C1" - a popular homeopathic drug used for acute otitis. It is based on the same name component Thuja C1, dissolved in ethyl alcohol. The effect of drops is strictly individual, depending on the age of the patient and the concomitant pathologies.

Sometimes, with acute otitis media, "Farmazolin" can be prescribed in the ear. This drug has a completely different mechanism of action. It causes a sharp narrowing of the vessels, thanks to it there is a rapid (literally in 5-10 minutes) removal of inflammation.

"Kandibiotic": analogues are cheap and effective

However, there are other drugs for the treatment of inflammation of the hearing that can replace the "Candybiotic." The analogue will be completely different in composition, but perform the same function. For example:

  • "Otipax" contains fenazone and lidocaine hydrochloride, relieves pain and inflammation with medium otitis (acute and complicated).
  • "Otirelaks" has a similar composition and acts similarly.
  • "Otinum" - ear drops on the basis of choline salicylate, eliminates inflammation and pain, dissolves sulfur plugs.
  • "Normax" with norfloxacin is a strong antimicrobial agent.
  • "Sofreks" is a complex preparation (gramicidin C, dexamethasone, and scrambutin) for the removal of irritation, disinfection, elimination of allergies.
  • "Fugentin" is a drug based on gentamicin and fusidic acid, a combination of an antibiotic and an antimicrobial.

It should not be forgotten that when buying a medicine, one should not always be guided by a low price. In some cases, cheapness is achieved through damage to quality. Therefore, when choosing medicines, it is better to follow a rational approach.
