The history of the camp "Chaika" (Alushta)

The "Chaika" camp, whose photo you see in our article, keeps good traditions. His story began in the distant 1965. In 1980, the architectural design of the camp was awarded the State Prize of the USSR. For all time of its existence the camp has repeatedly won the regional and all-Ukrainian contests in the category "Children's Health Institutions".

Children are accommodated in five-bed rooms (eight per floor) in two buildings located in the green zone. From the windows you can see a splendid view of the sea and the mountains. A healthy and tasty five-day meal includes a sufficient number of seasonal berries and a variety of fruits.

Camp "Chaika" has its own beach, so children organize morning and evening swimming in the time set by the leadership. At midday rest, the kids restore the forces spent on the walk, and the guys are older or asleep, or quietly discuss the experiences and upcoming events and their troubling minds.
