BMW F10 with facelift

BMW F10, relating to the fifth series, began to be produced in 2010, therefore, this development reached the age of three. Because of this, Bavaria decided to give a more updated look to its business model, affecting not only the sedan, but also the station wagon, and even the hatchback Gran Turismo.

The updated machine is best recognized by the turning signals, which are now built into the mirrors on the sides, and not to the wings in the front part, as it was before.

The optics in the front part of the car became sharper, already in the standard type for the BMW F10, xenon was provided, and adaptive headlights, which are equipped with the ability to change the main light to the near or the reverse, are offered to the buyer as an additional equipment.

To improve the aerodynamic properties of the BMW F10 M5 bumpers also had a significant impact. They received inserts from the front and back of the car from chrome. It should also be recalled that the model is built on the basis of the representative seventh series, so giving the fifth series of individual strokes, typical for cars of this series, it seems quite appropriate.

The diesel is supplied with a pair of turbines and is mounted on the sample 518d. The installed powerful unit is capable of delivering one hundred and forty-three horsepower with a torque of three hundred and sixty nanometers. The most powerful model - 550i - is equipped with an additional 43 forces, now the capacity is four hundred and fifty horsepower, and the thrust of six hundred fifty Nm is comparable to the torque of the Nissan GT-R. Modification M5, made in a sporty style, is equipped with an optional package of special modifications, which develops up to five hundred seventy horsepower.

The coasting system, when the car itself determines the moment when it moves under the hill, and the driver does not press the gas pedal, is offered as an additional equipment. At the same time, the neutral includes an automatic machine with eight bowls, as a result of which the BMW moves with rolling gear, without spending energy to unwind the gearbox.

In addition to facelifting from the outside, the model, which underwent modernization, received an updated engine working on diesel with a capacity of two liters. The diesel is equipped with a steam turbine and is mounted on a sample 518d. A new power plant is capable of delivering one hundred and forty-three horsepower with a torque of three hundred and sixty Nm.

Now the BMW F10 can be purchased with both rear and four-wheel drive.

Thanks to this system, the new BMW 518d consumes four and a half liters of diesel fuel on a mixed cycle. Each power unit of the BMW 5 series F10 completely complies with the Euro-6 standards for environmental performance at the end of the modernization. The Traffic Jam Assistant system that keeps the car within the band, observing the markings, will be included in the list of additional equipment. The implementation of the updated model is scheduled for the end of the summer period of 2013.

It should be noted that this powerful car is equipped with shock absorbers, which are regulated by the most modern electronics.
