Black limit ("Skyrim"). Where is and what is needed?

The black limit ("Skyrim") in itself is a huge cave in which the main city in Skyrim called the Quiet City was built by the Dwemer. During the War of the Rock, the Falmer attempted to capture the city, but eventually found that the Dwemer race had mysteriously disappeared from Tamriel's face.

Septimius Segonius will tell Dovakin that originally the entrance to these caves was in the city of Alftand, but in the course of time several tunnels to other Dwemer cities were also conducted.

What is this location?

The black limit ("Skyrim") is one of the most extensive locations in the game. Access to this location will open after you activate the appropriate quest, because to open the entrance you need to have a specialized tuning scope. Many do not know where to find the Black Limit in Skyrim. How to get to this city? You can do this through various Dwemer ruins, using the tuning sphere on the corresponding device.

If you do not know where the "Skyrim" Black Limit, the entrances to it are located in the cities:

  • Raldbthar.
  • Mintschaft.
  • Alftand.

It should be noted that there are more outputs than inputs. The player is provided with several elevators, through which it will be possible to significantly reduce the road.

Entering this location, it immediately becomes noticeable that the Black Limit ("Skyrim") is not similar to any other location in the game, while it is sufficiently densely populated by various creatures, the predominant majority among them are the Falmer. Judging by the concentration of creatures in this location, it can be said that here there is some kind of similarity to their capital, while it should be noted that it is only here to really see the Falmer servants who have a normal appearance and at the same time actively protect Their owners. Also, of course, next to the Falmer will often be their constant companions - the frosty spiders and, more terribly, the cores.

Among other things, there is also a large number of other creatures that, most likely, once came here from outside. In particular, this refers to the giant and mother of smoke. As a legacy of the Dwemer, you can also find a centurion, but he will not be smiling with you and, of course, immediately attack as soon as he sees it. Of course, in addition to the centurion, you can also find many other defense mechanisms that defend this territory.

Where to get the quest?

Quest to visit this location is called "Beyond the Edge of the Ordinary" and is an assignment of the Daedra Prince Hermes Moru. Initially, the quest is taken, as mentioned above, by Septimius Segonia, but then it becomes clear that he is only a servant of the prince. To complete the task, you need to collect the blood of all races, then return to Septimus. He will introduce it into himself, thus opening the Dwemer trap. Inside the trap is a book that Hermeuus Moru will prefer to give to you, which will allow you to add +5 to certain skills.

Unique elements of the Black Limit

In the Black limit, you can also find the Sinderion laboratory, which was a legendary alchemist and is a reference to the previous part of the series - TES IV Oblivion.

Also worth noting is the fact that it is here that the scarlet roots of Nirn are located , which are necessary to complete the task. Returning to the roots. In no other location can you find these roots.

Surprise for the dragonborn

Little knows that the Black Limit ("Skyrim") allows you to call a dragon named Vulturjol, which is a kind of surprise to players from the developers. In order to summon him, you must use the very first cry you studied. A merciless force on the Dwemer sun that hangs over the main square of the Quiet City. To skip it is difficult enough, but not everyone can guess that it contains such an interesting surprise.
