The simplest bird from plasticine

If you sculpt with a child or have never taken plasticine in your hands, it is better to start with simple models:

  • Take a lot of modeling for blue, yellow and white. First, form two balls of blue mass. From one blush your head, and from the other form a trunk.
  • Stick the head to the body.

  • Cover the seams.
  • Then from the yellow mass, roll one small ball and two large balls.
  • From a small ball, form an elongated beak, and from large balls - teardrop-shaped wings.
  • Also, from a white slice of plasticine, roll two small balls. Flatten them and make eyes, attaching them to the head.
  • From the blue or black mass, form the pupils.
  • Stick the beak to the head and the wings to the torso of the bird.

Done! Now you know how to make a bird from plasticine.

A more complex model

If you are no longer a beginner in modeling, then you can try yourself in creating more complex handicrafts.

Prepare plasticine black, orange, blue, red, yellow, orange, brown and green. Now let's proceed to modeling:

  1. First, from the black mass, form the body with the head.
  2. Then from the yellow mass blur the beak and the breast.
  3. Attach the beak to the head.
  4. Note that the breast should be thin. Gently stick it to the trunk under the beak.
  5. From the blue and black plasticine, make the eyes of the bird.
  6. From yellow, blend two thin short sausages and stick them over your eyes.
  7. Decorate the beak with blue, red, green and orange plasticine as shown in the photo in the article. And from black plasticine make thin black sausages and also stick them on the beak.
  8. To make the legs, roll six balls of orange. From each, form a droplet, and then connect them together for three. The legs turned out!
  9. Stick them to the body of a bird made of plasticine.

We set the bird on a branch

Now we need to make a twig and leaves. To do this, take a brown mass and roll the sausage out of it. Stack it on a texture that resembles the bark of a tree. From green plasticine, you need three or four balls, which need to be shaped into droplets, and then flattened. Draw a streak on the leaves. Stick the leaves to the branch, and to the leaves - the bird itself. Done!

We make birds from plasticine: a panel

If you want to create paintings from plasticine or other mass for modeling, you first need to find a suitable basis. For such work, cardboard, glass or canvas on cardboard is suitable. If you use glass, then first make a drawing on paper, and then lay it under the glass. So you can more accurately lay out the picture.

Let's start:

  • First make a blue background. You can immediately sculpt the clouds of white plasticine.
  • Then, from the green mass for modeling, roll a lot of thin sausages, from which lay the grass. From brown plasticine blind rushes. If desired, you can also blind the river from the blue mass.

After this, proceed to create the very bird from plasticine:

  • Take a light gray mass for modeling and roll it into a thin layer. With a stalk or a knife, cut out the trunk's heron without legs and beak.
  • Stick the body to the panel.
  • Then from the orange plasticine blind your feet and beak. Stack the skin texture on the legs and mouth on the beak.
  • From black, blue, white and light gray plasticine, roll a lot of small balls. Each ball is then flattened. From the resulting details you will have excellent feathers. And from the black mass for modeling, make a crest and eye.

Bird from plasticine is ready!

If desired, you can use for modeling not only plasticine, but also polymer clay, mastic, salted dough, self-hardening mass.
