Berokka plus - instructions for use.

Dosage form: Berroca plus comes in effervescent tablets of light or pale orange color. Tablets are flat-cylindrical and have small impregnations of a different color. They easily form bubbles in the water, forming a medicine with a tasty orange smell.

The composition of one tablet of the drug:

  • Thiamine (vit. B1) 15 mg
  • Pantothenic acid (vit.B5) - 23 mg
  • Riboflavin (vit. B2) 15 mg
  • Ascorbic acid (vit. C) - 500 mg
  • Folic acid (vit., Sun) 0.4 mg
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vit. B6) 10 mg
  • Nicotinamide (vit. PP) - 50 mg
  • Cyanobalamin (vit. B12) 0.01 mg
  • Biotin (vit. H) 0.15 mg
  • Zinc - 10 mg
  • Calcium - 100 mg
  • Magnesium - 100 mg

Other excipients:

  • Anhydrous citric acid
  • Red beet dyestuff
  • Sodium hydrogen carbonate
  • Anhydrous sodium carbonate
  • Potassium acesulfame
  • Sodium chloride
  • Mannitol
  • Aspartame
  • Polysorbate 60
  • Orange flavor

The drug is a combined vitamin preparation, therefore its pharmacological actions are completely conditioned by the properties of its constituents.

Indications

Berroca Plus is designed to treat and prevent conditions that are associated with vitamin deficiency or a deficiency of B and C vitamins, as well as zinc.

Side effects

Rarely, Berrock plus can cause a rash, swelling of the larynx and hives. In addition, sometimes cases of gastrointestinal disorders are possible. Also, side effects of the drug may be caused by an individual allergic reaction.

Contraindications to the drug "Berroca plus"

The instruction says that the vitamins "Berroca plus" should not be used in case the patient has the following medical history:

  • Hypermagneemia
  • Hypercalcemia
  • Hemochromatosis
  • Urolithiasis
  • Nephrolithiasis
  • Impaired renal function
  • Hyperxaluria
  • Age to 15 years

Berroca plus can be used with caution in the following diseases:

  • Diseases of the intestine
  • Gastritis atrophic
  • Diseases of the pancreas
  • Insufficiency of absorption of vit B12
  • Deficiency of the Castle factor

The drug during pregnancy should be taken exclusively for medical reasons, although no reliable connection between Berrock Plus and pregnancy is not detected.

Overdose

In the case of an overdose of this drug, gastrointestinal disorders are possible, in particular discomfort in the region of the stomach and diarrhea. With excessive consumption of vit B6, the manifestation of symptoms of neuropathy is possible .

In case of one or more symptoms, it is necessary to completely stop taking this medication and seek medical help.

Features

If a blood glucose test is required, it is recommended that the drug be discontinued because, due to the presence of Vit C, the results may be incorrect.

Urine after taking the drug can be colored in bright yellow - this does not give any pathological consequences, and is explained by the action of riboflavin.

The drug does not affect the ability of the patient to manage complex mechanisms and produce precise coordination actions.

Drug Interactions

Contained in the complex, vit B6 can almost completely neutralize the effect of the drug levodopa, but this does not occur if levodopa is accepted as associated with a decarboxylase inhibitor.

Reduce the amount of blood in the pyridoxine, folic acid, vit B12, ascorbic acid can be taken in parallel with the complex of oral contraceptives.

Violations of the functionality of the left ventricle can be observed in patients who take deferoxamine daily along with vit C.

Absorption of vit B1 can be inhibited by preparations containing antacids.

Absorption of vit B12 is violated by H2 blockers, aminosalicylic acid and neomycin.
