"Autumn Evening", Tyutchev F.I .: analysis of the poem

Fedor Ivanovich Tyutchev is one of the great Russian poets of the XIX century, who delicately felt the beauty of the surrounding nature. His landscape lyrics occupy a significant place in the domestic literature. "Autumn Evening" - Tyutchev's poem, which combines European and Russian traditions, in style and content reminiscent of the classical ode, although its dimensions are much more modest. Fedor Ivanovich was fond of European romanticism, his idols were William Blake and Heinrich Heine, so his works are sustained in this direction.

Contents of the poem "Autumn Evening"

Tyutchev left behind him not so many works - about 400 verses, because he spent his entire life in the diplomatic public service, there was practically no free time left for creativity. But absolutely all his works amaze with the beauty, lightness, accuracy of the description of those or other phenomena. It is immediately evident that the author loved and understood nature, was a very observant person. "Autumn Evening" Tyutchev wrote in 1830 during a business trip to Munich. The poet was very lonely and melancholy, and the warm October evening inspired him with memories of his homeland, he tuned in to a lyrical and romantic mood. So the poem "Autumn Evening" appeared.

Tyutchev (the analysis shows the fullness of the work with a deep philosophical meaning) was not explained with the help of symbols, in his time it was not accepted. Therefore, the poet does not connect the autumn season with the withering of the beauty of man, the extinction of life, the end of a cycle that makes people older. Evening twilight of symbolists is associated with old age and wisdom, autumn brings a sense of longing, but Feodor Ivanovich tried to find something positive and charming in the autumn evening.

Tyutchev just wanted to describe the landscape that opened to his eyes, to convey his vision of this time of the year. The author likes the "lightness of the autumn evenings", the twilight falls on the ground, but the sadness is illuminated by the last rays of the sun, which touched the tops of the trees and illuminated the leaves. This unusual phenomenon Feodor Ivanovich compared with the "meek smile of withering". The poet draws a parallel between people and nature, because a person in this state is called suffering.

Philosophical meaning of the poem "Autumn Evening"

Tyutchev in his work did not conduct a separation between animate and inanimate nature, because he considered everything in this world interconnected. People very often even unconsciously copy some actions or gestures that are seen around. Autumn time is also identified with a person, associated with his spiritual maturity. At this time, people are stocked with knowledge and experience, aware of the value of beauty and youth, but can not boast of a clean look and a fresh face.

"Autumn Evening" Tyutchev wrote with mild sadness about the irrevocably gone days, but at the same time with the admiration of the perfection of the surrounding world, in which all processes are cyclical. The nature has no failures, the autumn brings to nostalgia a cold wind, tearing off the yellow leaves, but behind it will come winter, which will cover everything around with a snow-white coverlet, then the earth will wake up and sparkle with succulent herbs. Man, going through the next cycle, becomes wiser and learns to enjoy every moment.
