Aquaparks of Ukraine: review of the most interesting

If you did not manage to go to the sea this summer, but in your city there is a water park - this will be the best alternative to rest for the whole family. This kind of complex has long established itself as the most popular entertainment. What is remarkable, even if the water park is located on the seashore, people will necessarily go there to swim in the pools and enjoy extreme slides. We will find out which water parks of Ukraine are the most popular, consider their features and varieties.

Historical reference

The first water parks began to appear in the United States in the 40s of last century. Of course, they did not have the appearance of modern and, of course, were somewhat simpler. Now in the US there are more than a thousand complexes, differing in size, shape, functionality and type.

Despite the fact that the founder of water parks is America, there is a theory that Peterhof is the progenitor of this complex. The fact is that it was here in the beginning of the 17th century that fountains appeared with a device that is used today. Although no one suspected then of the hills and pools, so this theory is only a guess.

World giants

The largest water park in the world is in Japan. "Ocean Dome" is located on the territory of a half million square meters and can accommodate ten thousand visitors. Interestingly, in the summer you can calmly sunbathe in the sun, and if it starts to rain or snow, the roof moves, and you can continue your vacation in the dome.

In general, the Japanese water park is really huge. It can artificially create an inoffensive tsunami and maintain a stable temperature of 30 ° C. By the way, a couple of years after the opening in 1995, over a million people came here. In 2007, the water park was closed for reconstruction.

In Russia, the largest complex is located in Gelendzhik, and its area is more than 150 thousand square meters. Water parks in Ukraine also have their own record holder, it became the famous "Treasure Island" in the town of Kirillovka. What is special about it, we learn further.

The Ukrainian giant

It is known that the largest water park in Ukraine is on the coast of the Azov Sea. By the way, this entertainment center is included in the top ten largest projects in Eastern Europe. Now the most popular resort for Ukrainians was Kirillovka. "Treasure Island" has become even more popular among tourists. Its area is 60 thousand square meters.

This place is designed not only for real extreme lovers, but for kids there are game zones and safe pools. In total there are 34 attractions on the territory of the water park. The most part (18) is children's entertainment. By the way, the special location of the main pool also plays a big role. Lying on the deck chairs, you can watch everything that happens on the slides.

Naturally, the biggest one here is the central pool. Its area is 1700 square meters. Nearby are entertainment for adults, bars and cafes. The highlight of the "Treasure Island" is the "lazy river", along which you can slowly swim and enjoy a peaceful current.

The name justifies the area for the kids. Here is a large beautiful pirate ship. In this area there are also many slides and places where children can actively spend time with animators. In addition to the main entertainment, here you can do aqua aerobics, or clean the skin with the help of peeling with fish.

You can relax on the Azov coast not only by resting on the beach in the village. Kirillovka. "Treasure Island" opens its doors at 10 am and gives an opportunity to have fun until 7 pm. You can also go to 7- or 5-hour programs, and also relax for a short time (2.5 or 3.5 hours). Children up to a meter can rest for free.

After the giant

Berdyansky "Cape of Good Hope" - an interesting project that is stylized as an ancient castle. In the center of the complex is a huge swimming pool. There are zones with a Jacuzzi in it. For adults, an entertaining musical program with stars and DJs is organized here in the evening.

There are less slides here than on the "Island of Treasures" - only 28. Adults can experience adrenaline on a 16-meter attraction. For the kids there are 10 mini-zones. Of course, all water parks in Ukraine have the same roller coaster. Among them are the famous "Free fall", "Tsunami", as well as various swirling attractions.

There is a cafe, parking and bars on site. There are cells for storing things. If you came by the company or with your second half, you can rent a vip-gazebo. Water football and air hockey services are also available.

Odessa charms

If you chose Odessa for recreation, then do not forget about the suburban resorts. In addition to the famous Zatoka, you can relax in Koblevo. Before this resort is only 40 kilometers from Odessa. In addition to the fact that a wonderful wine is made here, there is an excellent place for your children and you on the shore of azure beach or in an entertainment complex. The water park "Koblevo" became known to the world in 2007.

Despite the fact that it is small, the complex is no worse than the famous Ukrainian giants. The water park "Koblevo" offers 24 attractions and 2 large swimming pools. Also there are excellent hydromassage and jacuzzi. For the kids, a café with delicious food is open, and adults can relax in the bar.

If you decide to thoroughly rest in Koblevo, you can get a job in a mini-hotel. Nearby there are parking and catering.

"Pearl near the sea"

In the city of Odessa, in addition to attractions, there is a beautiful eponymous water park. "Odessa" represents its amusement park. There are 27 amusement rides, including the steep and extreme slides "Raketa" and "Kamikaze".

In "Odessa", as in Kirillovka, there is a "slow river" with a smooth current. There are hydromassage and Jacuzzi. As in all such institutions, there are drawbacks. Often, security guards overly carefully examine personal belongings, and for parking you could take less money. There were also trouble with inflatable circles.

In general, the aqua park "Odessa" positions itself as the most fascinating and extreme amusement park. Here everyone can find a liking for himself and an attraction, and just a place to relax.

Urban Jungle

In addition to the fact that there are open water parks in the resort towns, there are indoor complexes in Ukraine's megacities. The most famous and large is the amusement park "Jungle". Kharkov in this plan has won all. The entertainment center is popular and is a favorite place for locals, because you can come here even in winter.

The complex positions itself as a tropical center. If you are bored in the winter, then welcome to the "Jungle". Kharkov was able to build an aquapark with an area of 11 thousand square meters and in the first year gathered more than 100 thousand visitors.

Of course, there are not so important slides and pools. Most of all tourists are attracted by the interior. The facades of the building are decorated under an ancient tropical temple. Around waterfalls, streams and rivers, which fascinate and beckon with its calm. Exotics maintains a constant temperature with high humidity. In addition to entertainment, you can have a delicious lunch or even a holiday in the banquet hall. For those who came from another city, the hotel opens its doors.

The Capital Project

In the capital, of course, also housed a water park. "Dream Island" is a large indoor-type project. Under my roof I placed 25 attractions. Naturally, for Kiev prepared parking, storage rooms and a lot of public catering establishments.

It is possible to visit here nine kinds of various baths, among which popular Egyptian and Indian. There is a kind of spa-salon, as well as an ice grotto. For children there are excellent areas, safe and active. They will satisfy the fastest baby and will take it while parents enjoy the rest.

Like all indoor water parks, Kiev accepts visitors all year round, so in winter it will be even more interesting and extreme. When the frost outside the window, "Dream Island" always has tropical warmth and summer.

In addition to attractions, water polo and air hockey are available. On the territory of the complex you can also take skates and run out onto the ice, or watch a movie. The water park is a component of a huge entertainment center, where there is an autodrome, a roller blind and even a zoo. In fact, indoor water parks are very popular, as they can please visitors all year round.

Other projects

For a long time water parks have become a part of active recreation. All children want at least once a year to visit there, plenty to swim in the pool and ride a roller coaster. Of course, water parks in Ukraine, which are under the open sky, are most in demand because of their size and capabilities. It has now become popular to open water entertainment centers in major cities of the country.

In the beginning of summer in Dnepropetrovsk the water park "Happy Day" was opened. The complex was divided into several zones. In one of them you can ride an extreme roller coaster, another swim in the pool, and in the third, it's great to have lunch. You can also soak up the jacuzzi, or rent beautiful summerhouses.

There are also small water parks in Ukraine, which can be a great place to relax. They are compact enough and do not collect too many people under their roof. For example, in Ternopil there is an excellent complex "Limpopo", in Ivano-Frankivsk - "Tsunami", and in Lviv - "Beach".
