Tourism in Karelia has received an extremely rapid development. Literally in recent years, comfortable hotels have been built here, eco-tourism and agrotourism, now fashionable in Europe, have developed.

In the village Ruskuala, near the huge marble cave canyon with waterfalls, a new tourist complex "Mountain Park" has opened. Fans of recreation in the style of "eco" will be happy to visit the camping "Saami village" on the Ukhta island. Visitors to the camping live in plague, inside there are beds with mattresses and a fireplace, which serves both as a battery, a lamp and a stove.

Experienced fans of white water rafting will have great pleasure from rafting along the rivers Okhta or Chirko-Kem. And for beginners, a simple rafting along the Shuya River will be available . There are places in Karelia where you can have a rest in winter: safaris on reindeer sleds or on snowmobiles will leave unforgettable impressions! And of course, to visit Karelia and not see the "pearl of wooden architecture" on the island of Kizhi is impossible!

Another place where you can go without a passport is Lake Baikal. There is a beautiful pristine nature, excellent fishing, ski walks.

Few saw with their own eyes this amazing miracle of nature, although we heard about it, probably everything. Here you can always find a lot of interesting activities. In the summer it's horseback riding, hiking, cycling and walking tours of caves, mountains and islands, water skiing and catamaran rides.

In winter, motor tourism is popular here: various routes are being developed, for which jeeps and minibuses are leased. The Baikal winter is very mild, and for winter kinds of rest there is expanse. The most popular place for skiing is Mount Sobolinaya, on which there are 10 slopes of varying complexity and length. Camping, comfortable hotels and hostels are available in Listvyanka, in Irkutsk, near the Sobolinaya Mountain and directly on the coast.

And, finally, where can I go without a passport yet? Our country is great and beautiful, and in the Far East there is a reserved area - Kamchatka. Geysers and volcanoes, crater lakes and reserves, musk oxs, bears, salmon are all Kamchatka. As well as unusually effective thermal springs, superior in their medicinal properties, many overseas SPA.

If you still have a passport, but there is no time for issuing visas, you can choose to rest the country without a visa. To date, visa-free entry into the country or a simplified procedure for issuing visas for Russian citizens is effective in almost 90 states.
