All-glass partitions as a magnificent piece of interior

Recently, all-glass partitions without the use of profile systems are very often used in the design of many indoor public spaces. This is facilitated by a stylish look, strength of construction and a significant area of glazing. They are usually used for ergonomic division of office buildings into functional areas.

Such partitions are installed in shopping and recreation complexes, offices, entertainment centers, private interiors. In addition, from glass sections, you can form separate offices, shopping malls and meeting rooms. Frameless partitions of glass can act as an independent piece of furniture. All-glass partitions are a collapsible frameless structure that consists of strong glass sheets and a clamping metal profile. Some devices allow the use of point elements of accessories as a fastening system. The partition walls are installed in walls, floors and ceilings, making the frameless system look like a solid surface.

The glass sections are placed side by side to each other, there is a gap between them (approximately 2 mm). Glass in such systems is used thickness of 8-12 mm (tempered or triplex). It can be tinted, matte or colored. As a decorative design different techniques are used to finish the glass surface. These include: sandblasting, artistic painting, engraving, stained glass inserts, photo printing, airbrushing. The properties of tempered glass or triplex ensure safe operation of the structure. It is not recommended to build a glass partition height of more than three meters.

  • Resistance to wet and temperature environments;
  • The possibility of using several techniques for decorating the surface;
  • Separation of a large area of space;
  • Noise reduction;
  • The possibility of rapid redevelopment of the premises.

All-glass partitions have some drawbacks:

  • Low heat and sound insulation;
  • Large construction weight;
  • Comprehensive survey;
  • High cost of complex structures.

The cost of all-glass structures depends on the following factors:

  • General dimensions of the office partition;
  • Complexity and type of construction;
  • Presence of additional fragments;
  • Technique for decorating glass sections;
  • The type and thickness of the glass;
  • Brand and quality of accessories.

The manufacturing time of a simple design from glass sheets of standard sizes is one week. More complex office partitions are fully-glassed and their design is made throughout the month.
