Children's Theater Aleko exists since the last century. Many generations of artists and sportsmen have grown up here. Professionals deal with children. Young artists take part in performances and in important events for the country.

History of the theater

Aleko is a theater on ice, which was founded in 1977. The decision to open it was taken by the trade union committee of the Lenin Komsomol Automobile Plant. The theater was directed by Aleko soloist of the ensemble Igor Moiseyev, Honored Artist of the RSFSR - N.M.Samsonova. The choreographer was at the time OV Safronova. The master of sports trained the children: O.L. Barskova, N.P. V.Varyan, E.N.Karpova, M.O.Galkina.

The first performances that the Aleko Theater presented to the public:

• "Nutcracker";
• "Time forward";
• "Let there always be sunshine";
• "Aibolit";
• "My country is wide-spread".

Also, young artists took part in the mass scenes during the closing ceremonies and the opening of the 1980 Olympics, held in Moscow, in the art program of international competitions called "Moscow News".

In 1989, the Aleko Theater received the title "Model".

Since 1998, and to this day, the post of artistic director is Olga Ilyinichna Kondrashova. Thanks to her in the theater "Aleko" were united in one team outstanding coaches, choreographers, acrobatics teachers. Teachers of Aleko are professionals in their field. Most of them are former graduates of this theater. Almost in all rooms, the ice equipment, acrobatic elements, unique choreography, skating-stilts, a large rope and synchronous skating are combined into a single whole. Olga Ilyinichna is not only an artistic director, she is a stage director, and a developer of extraordinarily beautiful costumes. In 2010, this talented woman was awarded the title of "Honored Worker of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism of Moscow".

In the theater on the ice "Aleko" deals more than a hundred children. The age of pupils is from 4 years to 18 years.

Coaching staff

The Aleko Theater, as mentioned above, exists under the direction of Olga Ilyinichna Kondrashova. She herself is his graduate. Then she graduated from the Institute of Physical Education. She started working in the theater since 1986.

Trainer-teacher - Tatyana Aleksandrovna Karelina. She is also a graduate of the Aleko Theater and the Institute of Physical Education.

Julia Vladimirovna Shmiler is a master of sports in figure skating.

Andrey Stepanovich Maksimov brings up sports couples.

Sergei Akarevich Karelin teaches young acrobatics to young artists. He is a graduate of the Aleko Theater. In addition, he is a soloist of the Moscow Ballet on Ice.

Tamara Mihaylova is a choreographer. In the past she is a soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Ministry of the Interior.

Lana Alekseevna Shepeleva trains modern dances of pupils.

And also there are such trainers-teachers: D.K. Oganesyan and AA Boyko.

In addition to the theater's director, the creation of costumes for performances of the Aleko Theater is handled by MA Zhitnikov.

Every year at the end of May the Aleko theater pleases the audience with interesting and unforgettable graduation and reporting concerts. Since 1994 the team regularly travels to Poland on tour. Since 1999, young artists are taking part in New Year's Christmas trees for children, which are held in the sports complex "Olympic". The pupils of the Aleko Theater performed together with such famous figure skaters of our country as A. Yagudin, A. Tikhonov, I. Slutskaya and M. Petrova. The New Year performances artists showed in several cities.

In 2011, Aleko pupils participated in a gala concert held on Red Square in honor of the Day of Russia.

Awards

Theater "Aleko" for the years of its existence has earned a huge number of prizes and awards. His students won many times at various ice festivals. The theater often becomes the winner of competitions in figure skating on skates. In his piggy bank, diplomas for victories in competitions between dance groups on the ice, dedicated to the memory of outstanding people - Larisa Novozhilova and Samson Glyazer. The participants of the team become laureates of Moscow, All-Russia and international festivals and competitions. Aleko Theater was awarded an honorary diploma for its participation in the holding of the Paralympic Torch Relay in 2014. Also the collective received gratitude from the Minister for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy for the great contribution to the development of sport in our country. There are the Aleko Theater and diplomas for winning contests held in other countries.
